I saw this just last week. I had no idea what to expect. It was incredible - great music, lighting, set, performance, etc. And Hangzhou is gorgeous as well. Chinese crowds crack me up... I think the guy sitting next to me must have made 10 phone calls during the performance; but no matter, I still enjoyed it tremendously. There are so many amazing places to visit in China, but if you can, put Hangzhou near the top of your list.

It's an amazing show. I've watched it twice now on summer trips back the past 2 years.

saw the show on my visit last week, i was so moved! It was rich visually, as well as in sound and feelings.

I was so moved and had tears in my eyes at the end of the show.

OMG! I love it especially when it's done by my most favorite director Zhang Yimou! I will have to plan to go to Hangzhou to catch this spectacular show! I hope it's still around when I finally make it!

You should not miss it... it's hallucinating! Never you should miss Romance of the Song Dynasty in Song Dynasty Town... is also incredible in some aspects even better than "Impressions". Check this review about both shows... "Two spectacles that you shouldn't miss in China"

Actually, what's really impressive here is the singer, absolutely the best in the world, no doubt. Love Jane Zhang.

Wow! I went to Hangzhou in November, but didn't know this was on. But I plan to go back later in the year - Hangzhou is such a beautiful city, and I'll have to see this - especially when Zhang Yimou, one of my favourite directors, is involved. Wo yao yi ge piao!!!

@Vanetlau When I went (over the summer) it was a new show, the director had just had finished this show. He did the olympics opening too, so this came out after the olympics.

I visit Hangzhou in the last september and I saw this show live It was very impressive. Is a maganificient spectacle of light and color into the West lake wiht the Kitaro's music and hundred artist . I like see again but is very far for me I live in Spain.

we just saw this a few days ago... it lives up to its name, it is quite impressive. remember it is outdoors though so check the weather and dress accordingly.

Sorry i'm not bonneelee haha but i would like to tell you that we got our ticket though our hotel. I think you can get it in most hotel in hangzhou and make sure you wont pay too late in case of the tickets are not enough....T_T i dun know
