I understand where you are coming from. Realize that Bush takes virtually 100% of the blame for a war Congress allowed. Numerous senators from each party have contributed to our military involvement over seas. Many individuals can't even name 6 current US senators. A shocking number of people can't name even 2 from there own state. Some of the people I'm speaking of actually vote. My point is, Bush is perhaps US's biggest decision maker, but there are many others who are responsible.

Unfortunately, it will take years for people to appreciate Bush's contributions. What people don't understand is that a depression is good, because as workers get poorer, labor gets cheaper, so in turn the rich get richer which is good for the economy. Also, a war with a death toll of 500,000 could help stem overpopulations. It's just unfortunate that people can't look past the hype and see the long-term effects of such sound policy.
