Epic games said they aren't done with gears. First off, they never mentioned the other carmine, there was 4, they had one in each game. Also, they said that they just were done with THIS story. Gears of war 3 thankfully did the series justice, had fitting deaths and people to survive, but obviously a great game is going to leave you being pissed that they died, or that it ended. That happens when a really good dame is made

That, or their next games will be about the Pendulem Wars, COGs vs ICR previous to the Gears of War serious when Hoffman, Prescott and Adam ran the show. Which would only make sense because Myrrah's human appearance and control of the Locust are unexplained and left a mystery along with the Sire project from Gears of War 2.
