This song would be perfect for fallout 4! walking across the wasteland with a companion and a radio while killing super mutants, ghouls, raider you pick!
The band on the soundtrack is Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks and they play at Sofia's [221 W.46th St NYC] every Monday and Tuesday...come join the 1920s party !!
@turtelman1234 because Fallout 3 particularly has a gamer listening to some of the greatest music of all time, and because of this a whole new generation has been redoctorinated!
This is a great recording of the Ferde Grofe arrangement as recorded Feb. 10, 1930 in Los Angeles by the Paul Whiteman Orchestra with Bing Crosby and the Rhythm Boys on the vocal, and Joe Venuti and Al Lang as well. This is a nice note for note transcription. Neat to hear a modern recording of this great number. thanks for posting
@thardingau i know for a fact that this is the Manhatan Rhythm Kings singing this because one of the Rhythm Kings is my father. Thanks for this video upload it's awesome!
@thardingau Even in the DVD Bonus Features they talk about this song and that it was made by the Manhattan Rythm Kings. It is not actually sung by the man shown in the movie.
Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks can be heard every Monday and Tuesday evenings at Sofia’s Restaurant (downstairs / Club Cache) at 221 W. 46th St. between 8th Ave and Broadway, (ph 212-719-5799), adjacent to the Hotel Edison in Times Square NYC.

If this version is from the movie soundtrack, then the artist is Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, not the Manhattan Rhythm Kings.
