He takes a tale of action, intrigue and romance, and turns it into a beautiful portrait of the universal human struggle for freedom. How can a trailer possibly capture that?

Indeed it is, doesn't give a good view on the movies atmosphere at all.

But the English dub of this movie was pretty good. Normally I really hate dubs and prefer subtitles but this one was really well done.

hi... can someone post videos for crouching tiger hidden dragon tv series (2001) ... one of the actor named Qiu Xin Zhi as Li Mu Bai... really love that drama series than film... really wish to watch the soundtrack for the drama in the beginning of every series.... Qiu Xin Zhi is a great actor

I think this trailer fails to capture the true value in the film. It's a film with action... but I wouldn't it an action film. There was so much more to the story than just fighting scenes.
