In the letters that Sralin wrote before Holodomor it says clearly that he was concerned about losing the grip over Ukraine because the party was getting out of his control and the nationalism was raising, he new he would loose Ukraine, and Holodomor was what he did to keep it under USSR dominance.

as any other ukrainian nationalistic propaganda movie this one made me just annoyed and bored because real tragedy of 1932-1933 famine is lied about, used on propaganda goals, and in this vid by primitive ungrounded speculations. despite my definite rejection of bolshevism, leninism, stalinism I can not agree with absolutely groundless accusations of stalin's regime in selective extermination of ukrainian people by orchestrated starvation. no, that dire events happened due to other causes.

the catastrophe really happened in Ukraine in 1932-1933 and in many other parts of USSR at that time. but to call ukrainian events as *holodomor* or *genocide* is absolutely off the topic. these terms mean frist, the famine was organized by authorities; second, discriminatly were starved to death ethnic ukrainians only. none of mentioned above are true. and it means those who use the terms are nationalists aspiring to achieve their own goals.

State collected not all evth?? from peasantry but elevated taxes. taxes were paid by produce at that time. do you have to pay taxes? and the problem and real tragedy that happened were two drought years in the row. i do agree that authorities especially local have not reacted adequately when the first signs of troubles became visible. damned uneducated bolsheviks. holodomor/genocide? of course, not.
