@2submit yes there is for sure. they both train for competition but the rules for bjj and judo are different. judo is based around the throw since the 20's. bjj is based of ground transitions and submissions. the ground is limited in judo if you stall they stand you up. also you start heavy sparing after you get your black belt in judo. in bjj they start you much earlier. at the start pretty much. i train in both of them.
