tigers fight and i heard it keeps them happy and of course they get injured. i think the dye is kind of like iodine you put on cuts

Fantastic...the tiger is purple because of antiseptic..what a looser whoever said that...but it probable got its wound because of being beaten in the first place...Utterly disgusting that smart individuals continue to pay their tourist dollar to perpetuate this type of cruelty at this day and age. with regards to the tiger temple in thailand the CWI care for the wild international conducted a thorough 2 year investigation into the temple following concern from tourists and volounteers. Findings included illegal trade and breeding, animal cruelty, visitor safety risk, beatings from the temple staff etc there is a list of cases against the temple. It's a trivial injury that the Tiger probably didn't notice. It probably got scratched or rolled on something. Pretty pissweak complaint to be frank.

Why do tourists want photos with these tigers - they would be better giving their money to organisations that rehabilitate and rescue tigers properly - not breed them just to get more tigers to make more money from more photos. This is exploitation!
