My fiance' and I are both 26 and grew up with this show. Today we went out and walked into a store that had plush animals. I pick up a toy koala and rub noses with it, and my soon to be husband starts singing "Duh-da-da-da, duh-da-da-da, NOOZLES!"
Of course there was the thing he did too, picking up a fox hand puppet and in his best Tom Bosley impression says, "Come on Swift, we're going to play a trick on those nasty trolls!"

I did however watch a few episodes out of curiosity it was an early attempt to hook a new generation onto anime, it is not a bad little series, bit cutesy but then a lot of the shows back then aimed for a young age group or girls usually were ( no insult intended ) it's one of those series that would be a positive influence on kids of today
Can anyone tell me the other Nick cartoon with koalas? It came on in the kitchen of a human lady--live action-- talking about the koalas, they'd zoom out her kitchen window to a tree. Then the cartoon would start. It was about a community of animals and followed the koala family. There was also a bully that made fun of the little boy koala. I loved the dinosaur egg one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I watched Noozles and that other one all the time.

Words cannot express how much I loved this show when I was little. I always thought it was frustrating when Pinky would talk about going back to Koala Walla Land, lol. The funny thing is is that my mom named one of her cats Pinky and years later, my dad named one of his cats Blinky. It was not after the koalas in this show. It was a big coincidence!

Argh, I wanted to see this so bad as a kid, and when I finally found the tape years later the dub voices just burned my ears. It was like Speed Racer and 4Kids combined. It's a shame because the show was very creative.
this was the era of David the Gnome, Fraggle Rock, Ninja Turtles, transformers and other amazing shows.... although this was the only show to scare me... I still have the occasional nightmare about the koala trapping me in a bubble. Until finding this on youtube, I honestly didnt remember if I dreamed this show up or if it was real.

Words cannot express how much I loved this show when I was little. I always thought it was frustrating when Pinky would talk about going back to Koala Walla Land, lol. The funny thing is is that my mom named one of her cats Pinky and years later, my dad named one of his cats Blinky. It was not after the koalas in this show. It was a big coincidence!

I've been trying to figure out the name of this cartoon for two years! I remember watching it when i was little. It was one of my favorites next to Heathcliff and the one with the gummy bears.

Argh, I wanted to see this so bad as a kid, and when I finally found the tape years later the dub voices just burned my ears. It was like Speed Racer and 4Kids combined. It's a shame because the show was very creative.

It's an anime.
The show was quite a hit when it aired on TV Asahi in Japan during the spring of 1984. Nick Jr translated and americanized it in 1989.

this was the era of David the Gnome, Fraggle Rock, Ninja Turtles, transformers and other amazing shows.... although this was the only show to scare me... I still have the occasional nightmare about the koala trapping me in a bubble. Until finding this on youtube, I honestly didnt remember if I dreamed this show up or if it was real.
