A week on and I still feel privellaged. If only I saw them at Ronnie Scott's all those years ago. It was pure brilliance. I was glad that I saw the set that seems to be the norm of recent years and the new material too, it was a nice balance. I feel really humbled to have been able to see them and such down to earth guys to meet afterwards

I saw Shakatak on Saturday night at the Stables and they took me back to my adolescence to when Drivin Hard first came out. This music never seems to age. It was a brilliant show and I met the band afterwards. I only regret I never got the chance to see them in my prime. But now I've actually lived the dream. It was what I expected and so much more.

Timeless quality - superb musicians - when you hear bands of today compared to shakatak and their technical ability it's laughable and also quite sad. Awesome stuff.
