UhOh3991, I know you've long-since forgotten about this comment by now.. Lol. But before God sent Christ down to die for all of our sins, people had to get an animal, usually one with horns, or a lamb or dove to transfer their sins into that creature and have it killed as a sacrifice to God. The lamb sacrifice had to be PERFECTLY spotless for it to be considered a worthy sacrifice. Jesus is called the Lamb because He was spotless, but a human. So when He died, His value meant more than anything.

Not to mention the fact that it was God BECOMING human SOLELY so He could die for us. He sent his SON. Could you imagine, if you had a kid, and knew from the beginning that you were going to have to sacrifice him..? Then, seeing him up on a cross, dying for all of mankind..? All of your other children..? It's insanely horrifying to even imagine. That is why we are better off. God did that JSUT for us. His grace has been given.
