Buffing aluminum is very satisfying. It looks great, but buffed aluminum will eventually oxidize and look dull- it is just a matter of time. The trick is what clear coat will hold up to the temp extremes and weather.
Hi.. just curious, i have a suzuki T500 which is air cooled. lots and lots of fins. i'm trying to figure out how to get inside them. dremel takes way too damned long.
there are alot of self-proclaimed critics on here, but nice job on it. did you use green bar on it??. if not, give it a try and you will get even a better mirror shine!.

Wire brush it out.. and silver paint.. the only way to get deep into the cracks is to hide them in the beginning.. -Rob

Actually he needs less-expensive ones and more of them.. Those are pig-skin tig-welding gloves.. about $9 a pair..
