This game is AWESOME!! I remember playing this a long time ago and then (somehow) losing it. Too bad the only games people play these days is Call of Duty and other FPS. This game was absolute genius. Trying out all the different stealth kills was fun to do, and trying to not be seen by anyone. Ah...good times. I'll have to get this game again if I see it somewhere.

Only Changes are: 2 more missions and characters on the XBOX version. Also, that the graphics on the XBOX are more slick. One last thing PS2 version has more cheats than the XBOX version.

Tenchu 4 had a reason for ayame and rin with no rikimaru ( rikimaru was escapeing from the boulders ) but no actual reasons for Tenchu Z

Tenchu Z is a side story, that doesn't have anything really to do with the main games. Ayame was rumored to be Dead, but she isn't. People have their own predictions, and my prediciton is that Ayame is trying to keep Onikage off the ninja you play as in Tenchu Z. though what wouldve been more interesting is with Ayame teaching you, if you choose a girl ninja to play as.

But Rikimaru was named head ninja ( tenchu 2 ) after tatsumaru's lost memory so i can see why rikimaru is normally their. but i wish they would put ayamé in somewhere. or like if the 'village' ( i think it is a little camp) was alot bigger and you had a training grounds to practice purchased moves :)

The only way he could escape, was to jump into the portal Mei-oh fled into. Thus Rikimaru was in the 20th century for a year, after he killed the evil CEO(the guy from Rikimaru's bonus mission, Through the Portal) he came back to his time. They thought he was dead though.
