For anyone who's ever driven an aw11 mr2 (i have 2 of them) you know its Damn near impossible to keep one steady in a slide the very close to 50/50 weight distribution makes it a terrible drift car so yeah that wasn't pretty good that was downright impressive! kudos

illumena's are okay, but i would spend more for the koni yellows next time around.

well having experience with koni yellows and illumena's the koni's offer a wider range of stiff and loose. and to my knowledge there aren't to many coilover kits for the aw11, you have to modify miata coils. either way this video is 4 years old and i now drift an RX7 on a custom set of Ksports.

What is your experience with the Illuminas on the Aw11? Are they alright?

Lol you have any upgrade suspension on that? Looks kinda loose... lack of LSD makes horrible drift cars on dry roads.

not only is it open diff, but its on stock springs, and ofcourse mid engined, with a punchy 112 hp...LOL

Mighty nice build sheet for an 85 model! As for the snow drifting in an MR2 is easy comment, your obviously an above average driver, why feel the need to say something in the first place that you know to be true? But, aside from that, again, great build on the MR2, my brother is into the E30 chassis and is looking into getting one after the AW11. 4 cars after it was planned to have an E30 "ix" turbocharged it will finally happen. Hope to see some vids of your E30 soon. Snow IS easy, no arguement
