People still failing to "adapt" I see/ Only thing that bums me on The Run is lack of Free Run like in MW/Carbon for cop pursuits. Would of been amazing if they had a Pursuit mode like in Hot Pursuit. Funny how people still whining of car customszations. 9.9 out of 10 by the end of the race your car is gonna look like hell anyways. If you ask me they should of added more colors choices to the cars especially the NFS Edition ones way to many mainstream black cars

They've only left customising out because well lets face it, tuning culture has died out over the years. When underground was released the tuning culture was booming and that's how underground was born, but these days tuning is just another fad thats died out hence why nfs is phasing out tuning, nfs shift being an exception.

I fell in love with NFS when I played Underground the first. In my opinion, NSF has yet to create a better game. After NFS ProStreet which was decent, i started HATING NFS series because of shitty physics and flashy gameplay. If I wanted to play games like that I'd buy Burnout. NFS broke my heart and I'm not coming back to it until they come back with Underground 3 or something similar with good physics and good customization. Until then, Forza is my love xD

You mean how you can change the pop-up headlights of an RX7 to that of a (for a lack of a better word) "normal" one? Yeah that was neat. It's amazing how that simple customization option enhances the look of an RX7 or any other cars with pop-up headlights.

NFS used to be about spending more time tuning cars than actually racing cars, and the only reason for racing was to unlock more tuning parts so in turn you could spend some more time tuning,
So glad i DIDN'T waste my money on The Run!!!! Most Wanted was the last game they made that i liked. I spend more time playing NFS: High Stakes than NFS: Shift 2.... That game just collects dust now.

Underground had best tuning freedom, then comes Pro Street(Shame you don't get ride them in free roam) and then NFS Carbon(since it allowed you to freely place Vinyls anywhere on your car)

Tuning and Customization Options on the Need For Speed The Run. Humpf... it still almost like on Need For Speed Hot Pursuit of 2010, only differs that you can choose the body kit and more colours. Personally I played Need For Speed Undergound 2 long time ago and it's just a great game about tuning the cars. I never saw a game where it was possible tuning a Bugatti, or else.
But in anyway The Run still a great game with a good story a awesome cars, but I don't know if I want it.

Personally, I like every NFS-game except for Shift. It only sucks that there are so few QTE's in the game. Michael Bay should've put more of those action-movie sequences in the game with his creative mind. But I like the game, makes me feel like I'm the star of the show in Fast and Furious 7. Hahahahaha :P I hope my Steps helped out. I love the game and Michael Bay rocks! PS: try to combine Step 1 and Step 3. Step 2 is a car-adjustment to mess with the laws of gravity and speed. good nfs games: nfs1, nfs2, nfs3:hp, nfshs, nfspu, nfshp2, world, nfshp3 (the cars were good, but there was only pure racing and nothing more)
bad nfs games: nfsps, shift, s2u (great cars, but crappy gameplay)
really bad nfs game: the run (some good cars, 2 customize options, very short, no free run)

Have you even played the NFS' previous to the Underground series?
I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, I also loved U/MW/C, but it seems like you don't know NFS' roots.

@baHasz underground and underground2 were best...then everything in later NFS's were like "its time to take racing out of the streets" and then the NFS we knew...DIED...

@baHasz This game is linear game and its back to its roots, we were all spoiled by fancy tuning from underground, but however hard its to beleve, NFS serial is back to its great origins, and i cant find 1 mistake exept handling in this game.

Nfs started as supercar racing (ferraris,lambo's, lotus, u name it) then came Nfsu1 , then NFSu2, MW, Pro Street, Carbon, (not in order), Shift, Undercover, Shift2, Hot pursuit 2010 or 3 if u prefer, and then this crap.Before all the games btw, there were NFS1, NFS2, NFS3(hot pursuit1) NFS4 (high stakes), NFS5(porsche 2000) , and nfs6 (hot pursuit2)

Tuning and Customization Options on the Need For Speed The Run. Humpf... it still almost like on Need For Speed Hot Pursuit of 2010, only differs that you can choose the body kit and more colours. Personally I played Need For Speed Undergound 2 long time ago and it's just a great game about tuning the cars. I never saw a game where it was possible tuning a Bugatti, or else.
But in anyway The Run still a great game with a good story a awesome cars, but I don't know if I want it.

@45rian as much as I wanna start swearing at you and calling your names for spamming/hating I kinda agree - this particular installment of the series isnt about tuning mainly cause you dont get to drive the same car much - games like underground 2 are supposed to have a lo of tuning cause they're about the illegal street racers who want they're cars to be as beautiful as they're fast

Personally, I like every NFS-game except for Shift. It only sucks that there are so few QTE's in the game. Michael Bay should've put more of those action-movie sequences in the game with his creative mind. But I like the game, makes me feel like I'm the star of the show in Fast and Furious 7. Hahahahaha :P I hope my Steps helped out. I love the game and Michael Bay rocks! PS: try to combine Step 1 and Step 3. Step 2 is a car-adjustment to mess with the laws of gravity and speed.
