WTF.......the more positive crap one wants especially when one live in a society where one has all the opportunity to make those things that are called '' dreams'' to become real, the more it will balance itself out in someone else backyard as the other side of the polarity, the negative part. As long as all the people in this world can not use that positivity with success it is a abuse done by the one who is doing everything to make his/her dream come true on behave of the others.
i think some people are missing the point. think of it this way, if you believe in something so much, if you want something so much, you are going to put yourself in situations where you will be able to get the things you want, you going to have people thats going to help you obtain the things you want gravitate to you. Its not enough to just work hard in the sake of working hard, you have to have well defined goals to work hard towards.
@040181991 of course this is just an opinion, i highly doubt that the victims of the holocaust really believed they were going to survive at the very end, but perhaps the victims came to terms with their fate. It was an atrocity yes, but it will be forever apart of history, and will forever be an symbol of courage and that evil always loses in the end.

His rap career was on the downside when gangster rap came along,he owed money in the thoudsands and all of his so called friends had left him. It's not just about having a positive perspective and then you are "successful" financially or w/e. Its a kind of success that maybe you didn't realize before that needed improving.

i love will but this is total shit. positive thinking doesnt directly effect what's happening. the only people who can make drastic, immediate changes are the rich & powerful. celebrities like Will only preach about it cuz they were fortunate enough 2 experience it. My dad has been working hard & thinking positive more than anyone i know and is to this day still struggling to provide for my family. the only thing positive thinking does is provide as an idea to keep downers from giving up.

The pills have no medicinal properties at all, yet some patients take them and say they are cured. My point and Will's point is that your mind and attitude control far more in life than we imagine. We are now living much better in america. but unlike will smith, we dont go around saying we made it out and achieved our goal because we worked hard. of course thats true. but sooooooo many people I know worked harder...........we just got lucky. All I can say is Napoleon Hill is an author that discusses this in many forms. Napoleon Hill is what you would want to read for what Will is talking about in a deeper sense and mechanically. 'Laws of success' and think and 'grow rich'.
I love it! He's talking about living your life with a mindset that there is no obstacle that can't be overcome. Acknowledging that obstacle gives it power. That is faith. There is nothing Satanic about having faith. According to Hebrews 11:1, "Faith is the assured expectation of things to come. The evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." These ideas are from God, not Satan. If you believe you can fly and you've seen it in your mind's eye, you should be able to do it.

In terms of his craft as an actor, his skill is masterful. He is the best at what he does because of his dedication to his art/craft. I also admire him because he is a successful black artist. i love will but this is total shit. positive thinking doesnt directly effect what's happening. the only people who can make drastic, immediate changes are the rich & powerful. celebrities like Will only preach about it cuz they were fortunate enough 2 experience it. My dad has been working hard & thinking positive more than anyone i know and is to this day still struggling to provide for my family. the only thing positive thinking does is provide as an idea to keep downers from giving up.

I dig what Will Smith is saying here and the guy is a good speaker - but - I wonder, was he so postive, and did he have such a wise take on the power of positive thought when he was a charming, funny kid, getting his breaks in his acting career. I think not. More likely, he found massive success, and rewards, and has had a good run of things, and now, he has the luxury of reflecting and speaking his new found wisdom on every other person, who has to work hard, and struggle in every day life

I am using this disorder for advantage. My creativity is infinite, i can do multiple things at the same time, and my intelligence is expanding! Also i am creating a whole new concept for my hobby! Which where i am sure of will be an awesome succes!

to inform: ADD have these issue's, which many people have.. And the most of them don't even know! So if you have constant thoughts rapidly, always doing 2 things at the same time (or more), keep losing concentration on "forced" things (job, school), chaotic, forgetting things, great passion for your interests, and cant organize or plan?

I love it! He's talking about living your life with a mindset that there is no obstacle that can't be overcome. Acknowledging that obstacle gives it power. That is faith. There is nothing Satanic about having faith. According to Hebrews 11:1, "Faith is the assured expectation of things to come. The evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." These ideas are from God, not Satan. If you believe you can fly and you've seen it in your mind's eye, you should be able to do it.

In terms of his craft as an actor, his skill is masterful. He is the best at what he does because of his dedication to his art/craft. I also admire him because he is a successful black artist. Just imagine how much harder it was for him to get to where he is today because of the colour of his skin.

But do a little historical research and see what the Haitians were able to do against Napoleon - they defeated him when more well equipped armies didn't.
