two years have passed and Shawn is a great and powerful man who everyone wants to look up too. he was a great person and a wonderful father and he is missed very much!!! We love and miss you Shawn Blanton. FOREVER G-540!!!

I never met and didn't know Shawn Blanton. What I do know is he is a member of my law enforcement family. Seeing the pain and grief that has been shown in the media, that my friends, family, and those I know are going through, brings me more grief than I have known in many years. I pray for strength and peace to come to all those so deeply affected by this senseless tragedy. To everyone, know that God is going to carry you through this terrible time. Mackey.
