  • i dont feel shocked or anything when i hear the music and know jaws is coming. i just feel the glee building up knowing that someones going to be eaten.

  • That part about blowing up the air tank while it's in the Shark's mouth is probably the most epic monster pawnage ever...

  • I saw this movie when i was 8 years old and I couldnt sleep the whole night after that

  • Saw this 11 times in the theater when I was a kid. Every time the head was about to pop out I would go to the concession stand and get a 3 musketeers bar. That scared me shitless. I was 9 years old.

  • I love ur vids!!! Could you do the same for this Halloween season on 80s slasher films? That would be awesome or just slasher films overall. :]

  • that chewed off head scares me every time

  • That movie fucked me up for life. <3

  • When I was young, I only watched this show to watch people get eaten. The men on the boat giving their heart-wrenching speech only bored me. I was a disturbed little kid.

  • maybe you should do piraha

  • Best.Movie.Ever.

  • dude make tremors review

  • Ironic film, since the best way to get rid of a shark, is to punch it in the face. Swims off like a wuss.

  • There is nothing more to say about youtube video than shit or pointless

  • Muffin man, muffin man, do you know the muffin man...........

  • I really love this movie, it got me interested in sharks. :D

  • He should do reviews on the remakes of these movies espicially Halloween...

  • @HulkMatthew I agree, he should do the new halloween & why it sucked

  • the only scary part that made me jump is when the dead body falls from the boat tham made shit my pants when i saw i was 10 and alone at my house

  • By the way, Jaws is mechanical, and supposedly the reason hes not in the first half of the movie because he wasnt working right! lol

  • Best movie ever made. JAWS is my all time favorite classic. I grew up with it and I never get tired of it.

  • u 4got 2 say how jaws died

  • @eclipseecua james doesn't do spoilers.

  • 1:36 w t f jaws only gets 1:36 thats wack

  • i agree with godzilla964

  • Two words to describe "JAWS": KICK ASS!!!!!

  • Great freaking movie

  • You probably think that shark was alive....

    Nope, Chuck Testa.

  • Kuwait's right! Beautiful:) * Thanks جميل فيلم القرش

  • With the film's budget being 9 million, it's just amazing how it managed to garner 400 million.

  • where gonna need a smaller boat.... -_-

  • Worth seeing for the Robert Shaw Indianapolis speech alone. That's the big difference between this and run of the mill thriller/ monster movies, this one had the writing and made you care for the characters.

  • I am surprised you didn't mention that the reason you don't see the shark that much is because the prop kept malfunctioning. There was panic on the set and they simply could not get the hydraulics to work reliably in the salt water. Eventually they decided they just had to work with the footage they could get and BAM masterpiece.

  • Around a year ago I went diving with great whites off of Isla Guadalupe, all because of Jaws. The movie changed me as a kid.

  • my favourite movie

  • I'm actually very lucky and honored to have vacationed where Jaws was filmed, Martha's Vineyard.

  • I love JAWS its a awesome movie classic .

  • The fact that some kids these days want jaws to be remade makes me cringe. AND I'M 16 YEARS OLD!!!!

  • You know, the tiger shark they got in the beginning was actually a real shark. Look closely at the faces of the people during the photo scene. You can tell they can smell it XD

  • @shrek740 mine is a 25 foot long, 3 ton shark

  • If i would have been older when i first saw this movie, i´d jizz in my pants. Instead it just blew my balls off xD.

Seriously though, this movie is great for it´s time. Just too bad they had to f-ck up with the other movies. And why, oh why haven´t they made a Jaws 5 yet? C´mon hollywood!!!

  • UHHHH, YOU GUYS.... I THINK HE'S BACK FOR HIS AFTERNOON FEEDING!

Dreyfuss's best line EVER! That and anything from What About Bob?

  • I just noticed that "monster madness" is a really bad title. Not everything he does is a monster. But I guess it depends on your definition of 'monster'.

  • R u gunna make anew one

  • CHUCK NORRISSSSSSSSSS RIDING A SHARK AS BIG AS JAWS!!!!

  • @nightbane2 your mom rides the crackheads' cocks all day everyday, bitch.

  • my favorite part is where Quint gets bitten in the stomach by the shark on the boat and blood sprays out of his mouth. Ahhh, I will always love this movie:).

  • jaws is right to be named one of the best movies ever. its perfect. not many movies are, if you think about it.

  • The name the Jaws crew gave the shark was Bruce, they named him after Spielberg's lawyer I think. That's a nice bit of useless trivia but now I want you to remember Finding Nemo. Remember the lead shark's name? I'm inclined to think that was deliberate

  • I remember the first time I got up enough guts to watch Jaws. I was so use to using DVDs that when my parents said 'VHS' I was like 'wtf?'

Probably one of the few movies I've seen more than 10 times :)

  • damn bitches LEAVE THE SHARKS ALONE!!

  • JAWS IS NOT A HORROR MOVIE!

  • Fuck all you haters this is a classic.

  • Jaws is not scary, it's stupid!

  • Is that a Killer shark eating someone? NOPE, Chuck Testa!

  • here fishy fishy fishy FISHYYYYYY!!

  • My mom told me she saw this movie with her older cousins when she was young. Then that night she got into bed and she was scared to put her legs off the bed cause she thought the shark would bite her

  • @Pok3fan1995 dude i'm the same every time i watch this movie

  • Steven Spielberg said that he knew Jaws was going to be a hit when they were screening it in Dallas, and a fan left the theatre to throw up, but came back to finish the movie. That's fucking awesome.

  • After I finished the movie, I never *repeat* NEVER go in the ocean

  • bigger jaws

  • DADA....DADA....DADA..DADA..DADA.DADA.DADA.DADADADADADADADADADADADADADAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHh!!!!

  • the deserted countryside is the texas chainsaw massecere(sorry i spelled it wrong)

  • ITS BIGGER JAWS. O MAI GAD. we got a common enemy, we have to work together

  • @minecraftlulzar dont say that fuckin eggman will join ya XD

  • @minecraftlulzar Awesome family guy reference! way bigger jaws!

  • @minecraftlulzar family guy quotes.... i live by em

  • @minecraftlulzar got that from famly guy

  • Saw this at an outdoor screening once. I'd seen it like five hundred times at home and so had everyone else probably . . . still applauded at the end. Awesome.

  • Jaws is awesome!!!!!!!!

  • i agree with you man, jaws kicks ass

  • The movie he mentions on the 0:23 the deserted countryside, does anyone know which movie it is?

  • @Frostycakez The Texas Chainsaw Masscare.

  • Indeed, Jesus Christ is coming soon ! Are you ready ? Turn To JESUS CHRIST - God of Creation, and you will be saved !

  • @MessageWarning Saved eh? Saved from what? A place of torment and torture that your god created for people who simply aren't gullible enough to believe in someone who never makes himself known while people that have murdered and raped get to go to a lovely pace for all eternity if they simply become a believer in some vindictive being. Haha it is laughably absurd, keep your delusions to yourself. Hopefully you'll free your brain someday.

  • play the shity shark game :D

  • Dumb fact the prop shark used was named Bruce after their lawyer and the shel was rarely seen because the damn thing never worked

  • I remember watching Jaws at a young age and always loved it. the way you get little hints like the men hunting using the meat, there's no Shark Just music!

the blood curdling screams, to the men all having the reasons, Just the Suspence, the music short scares and blood. this makes it My all time favourite film

  • we're gonna need a bigger boat. he should of mentioned that line it was badass

  • On my birthday me and a couple of friends stayed up all night watching these movies

  • thats likje a megalodan

  • 76 people lost there brain to a shark attack.

  • Jaws got nothin on the shark from the 60's Batman movie XD

  • Steven Spielberg's best film

Back then he was all about story an character's, Now he's about Aliens an Effects.

Jaws is a masterpiece because it's the only Shark movie ever made that actually has quality character's. Brody, Quint, an Hooper made a great time an even when the Shark wasn't around you weren't bored to death or annoyed.

Not to mention, this has the best looking shark in the entire series an it was made first.

  • the best movie ever. Please do not remake this classic.

  • i wouldnt really consider jaws a horror movie

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 Horror is what scares you.

  • @solitarydot Dont scare me at all. i know what horror is btw

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 Well, it scares others. So, it makes the cut.

  • @solitarydot a shark at sea eates people. horror is like more expected as having a scary character goes on a killing spree. not having a shark just biting people.

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 The film kept everyone out of the water when it came out that summer. Sounds like fear to me.

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 Bollocks, Horror ranges from things like The Night of the Hunter, and Repulsion to The Wickerman to Rosemary's Baby to Duel, not just some clown in a hockey mask cutting up oversexed kids. The scarest movie I've ever seen about a man going on a killing spree is Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

  • @cha5 i didnt really say it was all about killers. i just think that the main reasons for people to watch horror movies are the killers you know what i mean?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 Not really, if horror movies were limited to slashers that might be one thing but when you've got horror films that range from The Exorcist to Jaws to Night of the Living Dead, all the way to The Human Centipede I'd say the main reason people like to watch horror movies is the primal fear factor that has always been a part of the horror genre. Like the old Lovecraft saying fear of the unknown is one of mankinds oldest emotions.

  • @cha5 i said like most horror movies are mostly KNOWN as the killers and stuff

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 And like I said, slasher movies are NOT the beginning and the end of horror movies, Horror movies date all the way back to the expressionism of Caligari and Nosferatu to the Universal horror monsters, plus the reason why people remember Bruce (the shark) from Jaws is that it was unseen for most of the movie which ratched up the fear factor far more than some cheezy slasher flick killer or a CGI shark ever could

  • @TheRebelsoldier12 Cont "horror movies are mostly know as the killers and stuff"

That's only if you limit horror films to slasher flick characters who suffer from an overdose of unending adnauseum sequelitis, It doesn't cover things like

Repulsion, The Night of the Living Dead, Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, Jaws, Cannibal Holocaust, Suspiria, Tetsuo The Iron Man, Let The Right One In, the movies of Dario Argento, Fulci, Del Toro, and too many other horror films to count.

  • @TheRebelsoldier12

    Everyone has their own opinion

Have to say that it's more horror than "Twilight", which is apparently considered to be in the "horror" section of movies...And god knows I sure as hell won't ever view those movies as horror movies

    Horrible, yes

  • HAIL TO A GODDAMN MASTERPIECE OF A MOVIE

  • You did explore the terrors of the sea in creature from the black lagoon.

  • the shark didnt look that bad! at least it had a menacing and realistic precense and think of the year this movie was made!

  • @kevin72013 there was no such thing as pg 13

  • The only problem i have with this movie is that it was rated PG, I mean come on, u got a naked girl, a decapitated hand, a kid getting killed, blood spirting out of water, a deformed leg sinking down the ocean floor, and a guy getting eaten and raped by a killer shark, and there telling us this movie is only Parental Guidence, i think they were on some serious drugs and cocaine.

  • @kevin72013 I saw this in the theater when I was 4 years old. It was the greatest film experience in my life to this day. NOTHING I've seen had the impact on me and the culture at large more than Jaws did. It was terrifying yet it was an incredible story with very powerful characters. The score made me a lifetime fan of John Williams and is a huge influence on my own music. There was nothing but positive results from seeing this film. Today's society has become so SOFT! Stop overprotecting kids!

  • @Caleb2296 Yes, I know. The way you worded that they didn't have any good CGI. Even if they did have good CGI they shouldn't have to. Why can't they just use practical stuff and make things like they used to and not half ass it on a computer.

  • SO FUCKING CLASSIC

  • man i had 2 skip freaking #17 of monster madness because of parental blocking! (angry face)

  • UR AWESOME JAMES AWESOME NARRATING UR THE BEST UR SO FUNNY TOO

  • @ausselwassel why dont you check his prostate while youre up there?

  • theres a restriction on texas massacre but not the excorcist?

  • Jurassic Park is kinda like a horror movie, instead of Sharks attacking it's dinosaurs. Theres blood like Jaws, theres decapitations, and in the beginning of Lost World a Little girl "dies".

  • @nightbane2 when is there a decapitation in Jurassic Park or Jaws?

  • @TheJawsFan24 (Sorry for late response) I saw a decapitation in Jurassic Park Lost World.

  • @nightbane2 When?

  • @ExilLarkdanx

So...you've never actually...SEEN a shark, right? Like, even on video? Must be hard being that big of a shut-in. Better than some crappy piece of CGI garbage.

  • I watched it when I was about 10 and I never swam in the ocean everytime we head for the beach.

  • Fun fact: after the show me the way to go home scene when they are outside the boat, you can see shooting stars!

  • i saw this movie 4 the 1st time 2 months ago, it scared the shit out of me, but it's still an incredible movie

  • The moment where the corpse comes out of the hole is the scariest movie moment of all time for me. It's the only time when I watched a movie that a literal chill went down my spine. I was 10 when I first watched it and I'll never forget it.

  • "It kicks serious ass" exactly why i love jaws

  • Just HAD to put Ben Gardner's head popping out in those last five seconds, didn't ya?

  • I hope Jaws is on Netflix.

  • 74 people need a bigger boat

  • dude, i saw this for the first time when i was 7, i had to be forced to go even to the shore of Myrtle Beach! D: freakin scary! :P

  • 1:29 gets me every friggin time!

  • @alexbc7493 Same here. It's an effective, shrill noise.

  • This needs a remake, no CG, just anamatronics, unless the CG is really good

  • those last couple seconds scared the shit out of me

  • this is such a great movie.it was so good, but then they killed the shark and it got kinda boring

  • advice if you dont wanna get eating by a shark

dont splash your legs and arms in the water

  • @Blixthumor I won't argue that :) !

  • and thats why i dont go swimming in the ocean, any questions?

  • @DaEnigmaaZ what is this a psa?

  • Does anybody know where "Monster Madness 2010" is aviable? Cuz James has not uploaded it on his channel...

  • name the film?

  • @Thecrazyboy5 That would be awesome.

  • man jaws is legend and to think of the pieces of ci shit we have today its a disgrace thumbs up if u agree

  • @ExilLarkdanx that movies is produced by steven spielberg same with men in black 2

    J:must be speilbergs work

  • I can't believe that this movie was rated PG!

  • @venomfan3412 They had to fight the authorities hard to get a PG rating . Speilberg talks about it on the DVD special features his argument was that sharks attack people everyday and non of the film was science fiction .

  • @venomfan3412 this was before r rated and pg 13 so you have to rember that

  • This is my Favorite Movie! Period!

  • my friend says jaws isn't a horror film. He's a dumbass!

  • 1:08 OH, YEAH!!!!

  • i remember in that movie the scientist that was supposed to put the syrom in the sharks mouth! the dumb bitch drops the stick and then pussys out behind a rock while the other guy has to kill the shark himself! that made me laugh my ass off

  • 1:30 that scene scared every single particle in my body when i saw that for the first time in my life. Holy hell O_O

  • Smile you son of a ...!

  • jaws is not so scary but some scenes its scary

  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY! lmfao

  • I luv all the jaws movies

  • @lalajbluv i've seen the first 2 films. 1 is one of my favorite movies. Jaws 2 is also a great movie. As for 3 and 4 if your here the plot you know there gonna suck i'll never watch those

  • who the fuck flagged #17

  • @ccgamemaster75 youtube!!!

  • this was the number scariest movie according to brAavo. and I agree because this stuff really does happen. almost every day some one gets eaten by a shark.

  • @rageahollic33 Actually, it's a VERY RARE occurance. But yeah, it's still some freaky shit.

My money is still on "The Exorcist".

  • in the 70's this was scary. now most of the horror movies from that time is kinda funny

  • Shark may look fake but if you saw a shark that looked like that you'd shit yourself more than if you saw a normal shark, mainly cos you wouldn't know wtf was going on.

  • @spiffcorgi radition, perhaps?

  • 00

    --- dadadadadadadad baam lol

  • i watched this movie when i was pretty young, but instead of scaring me it actually made me like sharks and be interested in them. i dont find this to be a horror movie.

  • haha, "It scares the shit out of ya!"

  • I rather have a real fake shark then a piece of crap CGI shark.

  • @scottieman2 you do know its not computer generated?...

  • @DarrylKerr In Jaws? I don't think when they made Jaws, they didn't have that kind of good CGI.

  • @scottieman2 i have to agree with that because jaws is kick ass just the way it is

  • @otakufan217 Thank you. That's what I'm saying.

  • @scottieman2 I suggest you look up the Robot Chicken sketch about a "re-mastered" version of Jaws. it's hilarious, to say the least.

  • @SonicSnail95 LOL I bet that's how the movie would be, too. LOL.

  • @scottieman2 Jaws: The Revenge says hi.

  • @FireSpirit117 NNNNNOOOOOO!!! Hello.
