  • Nice boat! Is that a Princess Herb Stotler 1/2 Cover War (Dart) Path Girlie color scheme on that thing?

  • The question is, with the price of gas so high now, do you still own the boat and if so how often do you run it?

  • For what it's worth, I wouldn't run those engines above idle on a hose. A typical garden hose cant supply the volume of water that your sea pump requires above idle. They will literally collapse the hose, starve the pump for water and burn up the impeller. Be careful and enjoy that wave-crusher!!!

  • i would have stuck with the baja

  • No propellers? I could swim faster.

  • This guy has gotta be compensating for something. LOL

  • nice to have money. Just remember the old proverb ' A boat is just a hole in the water in which pours money'

  • Howdy from Wallenpaupak. Bajas, meh. My bud bought a 226, I got a Powerquest 260 Legend SX. He's got 40hp more, and 4' less, my "slam shack" is bigger&taller. Pound on his hull vs mine and his resonates. Because Bajas have a shallower draft/flatter bottom he can kill me in the smooth, but I walk him in any chop w/o spilling a soda ocifer. My cuz (272, bigger 226) and bud both sent 'em back to the factory when the gelcoat started falling out after 2-3 years. Good luck w/the Apache, it's schweet!

  • color matched outdrives are a must!

  • rich MF!

  • Baja Boats are the best. I like Eliminators too.

  • sounds like a couple 500hp big blocks. awesome sound

  • At my cottage we have two sea doos and an air natique i bet the sea doos can beat that boat

  • Lots of jealous folks out there! Even one guy gloomy about your pecker- and his name is "superpickle" hahahaha Nice boats! I am lookin into a Baja 24 Outlaw myself. (fingers crossed) The guy that commented that there are no props- you couldn't afford props for either boat! Probably cost more than your car! - EACH!!!

  • That's an awesome apache! is it a kevlar hull just like Kramer's race boat?

  • i have a baja and 2 other boats and u have no props

  • You must love it!You probably get so much looks on the lake,Its such a nice boat good job

  • apache boats shit on baja boats.... no questions.... McManis is a god haha

  • damn that thing has to be heavy

  • it looks like an 1988 baja, with a wing on top..

  • I am an ex product development engineer from the baja plant here in bucyrus, and I will tell you guys what, baja put out crappy product from about 95 on. Stinking liner boats killed us in the end.....

  • This boat has a swim platform, I don't think I've ever gone out on my boat and not jumped in at least once

  • Lol, never give up your Apache. Apache is as good and exclusive as it gets. Very limited in production but very high quality and very strong.

  • @Jake45499 you're talkin bass boats, this is powerboats you can't compare the two, both are good in theier own way but power boats are altogether different. And no offense, but there's no way a ranger with a 150 OR a 200 did 85. P.S. Just because the speedometer says it doesn't mean it'll do it

  • what about JIMBO

  • why did u trade the baja in? what didnt u like about them?

  • Baja was a good boat but the one particular one I bought was neglected and I ended up having to strip the whole engine compartment and replace everything, wiring, steering, gimbals, engines, drives, all of it. the boat should have come with K planes and full hydraulic steering and it did not, for what it was it was an inexpensive boat, it really should have had better components to make it safer and better performance to run at speed. Its not a bad boat, Mine was just neglected from day 1

  • oh gotchya, yea thats always a shame when someone beats the shit out of something that you end up buying. good luck with the one in the vid, looks like a pretty sick boat. good for making points. lol

  • @41warparty you should try a ciggaret nortech fountain or renegade i have a fountain their realy good boats

  • @242DEE

I have just made some substantial investments in my Apache over the last few weeks, so I am going to stick with my 41 Apache for quite awhile. If I ever did decide to sell the Apache & replace it, I am 99% sure I would sell the Apache without the engines in it & go for a 42 Fountain Lightning (or the newer 42 Fountain Executioner) with Twin Staggered engines & #6 drives & put the Apache engines in the Fountain. A 42 Fountain with T/1000 HP would be pure INSANITY and FUN to drive!!!

  • @41warparty in this economy and the way obama is leading us u would have about a mid 70's% without engines but i depends on the people most people would rather have a boat with engines, less money over time and also saves time but good luck if u sell it!!

  • @242DEE hell yah man the best power boats ever and did u kno that baja is made by fountain? i did not is was obvious with them havin the same logo and all.

  • @Jake45499 haha ive been around baots since i was 3 but i love bajas 2

  • @242DEE i been in 2 boats when i was 13(im 15 now), my dad had a ranger 17' with a 200 mariner but it had a 150 sticker. it went around 85 mph. now we have a 1998 ranger 20' with a 200 efi merc. so i been around boats a good bit. i like all kinds of boats though

  • @Jake45499 ive been in like hundreds of boats since i was like 3 o by the way akamissick is me the last boat i was in was a 40 ciggarette top gun with tripple 10z5 mercs it did like 100-130

  • @242DEE Theres no reason to try anything after you own an apache... Nothing out there even comes close if your going for speed unless you want a cat boat....

  • @rd2fst If you want speed you don't want an Apache. If you want the best rough water V you don't want anything else.

  • Thats Baja....have you ever been out in say one of Reggies boats ? When you have then you'll know what 120MPH feels like in a boat built to race.

  • @TheSootKing Baja's are cheap little boats

  • u should paint it black-

  • Paint what black? The whole boat? No way, too hot as it is let alone making the boat one big black frying pan. I plan on doing alot of airbrushing on it from top to bottom and front to back, and remaining will be painted cadillac pearl white with multiple layers of crystal pearl pigment powder in the base white and clear coats to create a very deep pearl white base.

  • TRS drives

  • No, these are Super Speedmaster #3A big shaft drives with cleaver props. TRS drives can not handle 1000 HP and use regular bravo type round ear props. I use the same props that are used on SSM#3A, 4, 5, 6 wet and dry sump drives.

  • good luck getting under any bridge on the lake i live on.......haha.......you planning on respraying that boat? or is that one of those no-no's on the famous apache (not to change it. or upgrade it.)

  • ok im an idiot. didnt pay too much attention to the 2nd part of that video.

  • Yes I have already started the planning stages and have done some computer art work to figure out my project plan for it. Going to do the work back to front, meaning paint the colors I want on it in the design from paint masks, so shoot the colors I want on the sides and deck, then use computer cut paint masks, then cover up the colors in the pattern and designs, then shoot the whole boat Cadillac Pearl white, then peel the masks exposing the colors underneath then clearing the entire boat

  • shoot us a vedio when your done!!!! sounds like an awesome paint scheme. the caddy pearl wil sparkle like a diamond on the water!!!!

  • Nice Apache, drives look like they're from the 90's, Mercs?"

  • Super Speed Master #3A big shaft drives. Yes Merc Drives, they made the speedmaster line for years and years for the bigger HP equipped boats where the TRS and Bravo drives would not hold up and would blow apart right away. So the SSM 3A drives were a great drive and still are. Konrad drives are making direct replacements for them and replacement parts as well so getting them repaired is not a problem. Props are interchangeable from #3a, 4, 5, 6 drives so I have an easy time finding props

  • nice boat you got there

  • O.O its red it must go fast

  • Sweet. I bet she flies. I guy could get laid with a boat like that.

  • omfg i wish i could afford that lol im just 15 years old i bought a old 9.9hp mercury with a zodiac for like 1000euro but this is better stuff

  • Ah, BDS blowers that explains it better. The cams are mild. Barely a hint of lope. Unless the engines are over 500ci? Any dyno sheets? I know I'm being a dick but I didn't claim to the world that they were 1000 hp each either. How many pounds of boost?

  • 572 blocks refreshed to 598CID with the blowers pushing 10 PSI at 4200 RPM THe idle is rather high since I have actual transmissions in the boat rather than just drives wtih F and R.

    idling around 900-950 RPM

  • Apache boats still look the best, in my opinion.

  • That is a SEXY ass boat.

  • how fast?

  • beautiful boat.

  • Wow, how do they make 1000hp with such mild cams? Supercharged?

  • 500hp each engine.

  • No 1000 HP each engine, They are supercharged with BDS superchargers!

  • They are 1000 HP each, yes Supercharged and those cams in each engine are far from mild, its got some water injected into the muffler tips and that sort of quiets it up a little bit but honestly its really REALLY loud!

The cam corder cant get you the whole idea of how loud it actually is.

  • Wow, must be the camera.

  • How fast she rool!!I see you got a ford there!!!!!!!!

  • Damn i am happy to get a jon boat!!

  • A fine upgrade. Your a lucky man.
