Does the ACLU ever get wind of these cases and also come to the aid of college students??  Or are they ALSO on the side of the universities?

It is interesting that throughout history that universities, the alleged havens for intellectual growth and discourse, have been notoriously heavy-handed with those who don't tow the line. Now that these institutions are dominated by left leaning individuals it really should come as no surprise that this kind of unjust treatment is so common. I might suggest that the root of the problem is not just with the liberal ideology, but the nature of universities in general. So how can it be fixed?

I am shocked at Bucknell University for silencing the student's voices and denying them their right to freedom of speech . I saw the video of the bake sale and Bucknell administrators looked quite weak; I was waiting for the students to be dragged away in handcuffs. Is this the direction our country and universities are heading towards? Shame on you Bucknell University, shame on the image you have portrayed of yourselves and of your school. Thumbs up to the students, don't let them silence you!

Bucknell is runned by the Democratic Party. Anyone with a conservative point of view is targeted. Equality and freedom is only reserved for people who hold the same point of view as the Democrats. Sad but true. Keep doing what your doing man, stand up for freedom.

Based on your rhetoric, I am going to go out on a limb and say it was probably a little of both.
