Its because Devin discontinued all his albums so any that are produced new are done so under (really expensive) licence. My fiancee got me Terria for my 18th and she said she looked high and low for it but ended up asking a mate of hers to help her out.

It's annoying that so many people have never heard of Devin Townsend. I was ignorant of his work for so long and I can honesyl say his music changed my life. Up until then I'd never heard such a perfect balance of emotion, agression and talent. This is one of the best pieces of guitar music I've ever heard.

The main section and melody doesn't sound much like Vai, but the solo is very Vai, and as my man said below Devins tone is better in this!

I actually went to double check and make sure Vai didnt have a guest appearance on this album because I ws thinking "Vai" the whole time also. The last time I did that was for Synchestra and Vai actually DID do a guest solo on Synchestra! But I guess this one is all Devin. The tone is a bit better than Vai's though.
