Im sorry quiplet but you are only partially correct...yes the bankers get away with this crap because they are in bed with the politicians but we only have the ILLUSION of elected officials...how else would a group of people with a 6% APPROVAL RATING get a 95% RE-ELECTION RATING?Or how does a 1st term Senator with NO real credentials or standout bills or impressive voting record win the Presidential election by a landslide? We want what they sell? You obviously BELIEVE what you see & hear on TV...
How does Goldman Sachs and their cohorts spell Capitalism? COL-LU-SION: a secret understanding between two or more persons to gain something illegally, to defraud another of his or her rights, or to appear as adversaries though in agreement
Let's all get this straight. The bankers are allowed to do what they do by the politicians. The politicians are elected by you and me. We do this because we want what they sell, namely the belief that there is a route to riches by property/asset speculation.Wake up, take responsibility and get busy changing it for real..
I want their money. I want us all to take their money and share their money. This is ill gotten money god dammit, it's not capitalism. I haven't even seen Michael Moore's new movie, but let me tell you man, capitalism is dead. This really is corporate communism, in that all of these "competing" corporations steal as much wealth as they possibly can, whenever they possibly can, and leave none for us, the common. Obama could stop this if he gave a shit but he's banking on suffering like Bush did.
no no no, belief in free markets is like belief in christianity. Here let me debunk you.
A bad enviroment and lack of social responsibility would result in lower profits. Therefore the market will automaticly solve this to reach an equilibrium in profitability and responsibility.
If Goldman had a 20 billion dollar hedge with AIG, does Goldman currently have more hedges with other companies? Possibly to hedge against the real estate market.

Is Goldmnan Sachs financing RealNews? Obviously Goldman Sachs planned this as a scheme from the beginning. They spent a lot of money over the years changing the laws so they could pull this off.
NO, this would be considered collusion. Capitalism ceases to be capitalism when the aid of government is invoked to achieve a goal. Capitalism lives and dies by the free market. Collusion and deception lives off our innate trust in government.
check how many ex-goldman sachs individuals have worked for the Federal Reserve. See that the Fed helped cause this financial crisis. See who then was appointed secretary of treasury by the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administration. You will see familiar faces in all three of these categories. Now, notice how Goldman Sachs was able to escape the housing bubble... I wonder if they had inside information? Or was it all a set-up to re-distribute wealth to the hands of a few individuals? or both!
everyone needs to read the Rolling Stone expose on Goldman Sachs. Google it.

Try and experiment with going beyond your government sanctified education. Be silent for a while. It's amazing what you might learn/unlearn.

My question is:
