  • @raneyboo Maybe you're right about prepackaged meal replacement products. But think about how cheap you could make your own - and I don't think the fact that it is prepackaged and quick to use justifies that price, if you're serious about nutrition/bb you need to take some time to inform yourself about nutrition, plan and prepare your meals unless you have so much money you can hire someone to do it for you. I'd rather eat beans with salsa ;) (go team scooby :D)

  • 2.50c is within people budget if you do the math 2.50c x 30days = 75 if you buy a protein bottle of like 500g or so it would cost like 30e thats within people budget thumbs up if you agree

  • Hey I know this may come off as stupid, but I used to drink a protein shake right before going to the gym. I transitioned for some reason just into a Pre-Workout energy drink, Should I drink a Protein shake right before every workout and after?

  • This looks really good, never underestimate the carbs. I did my chest workout today with very little carbs in my system and I was out of strength 35 minutes into the hour workout

  • @koenbp you could not be more wrong ! Steroids don't magically grow muscles, or burn body fat ! They allow your muscles to recover faster allowing you to work a muscle group (eg. biceps) more than once a week. Everybody trying to build muscle, lose fat, or simply trying to look better needs to eat healthy.

    You are what you eat. If you eat junk you'll look like junk!

  • We all would like to be as fit a Scott Abbett, but know there's something more to it than working out and drinking a "body building" smoothie. His build screams steroids/hgh or some other type of supplement. Why can't he just be honest and tell us what he is really taking?

  • @piferrg this guy doesn't really have the roid look to him. Whether or not he's on them I have no idea. But his level of muscle mass is certainly achievable naturally. The main thing besides workouts and protein supplements is having a good diet and being consistent with everything

  • @DjDamy I do not think you are considering it is a "Meal Replacement" and not just your average protein shake such as Muscle Milk which usually cost $2.75+ per shake on average so this REALLY is a good price. Meal Replacements usually have more calories and include more nutrients/ingredients to replace a full meal for a supplemental workout.

  • @C0MEatMEBraH im not going to put strawberry and vanilla and chocolate in my protein shake every time i work out. My protein shake has a vanilla flavor and thats enough. the most important ting is that it dissolves in seconds literally and i can take it quickly before and after the workout.

  • Nice...One of my favorite before workout is brown rice with spicy beef/veggies. Around 600 calories.

    my problem is, that i am too slim, so i want to get bigger. i am 62 kilos and was 72 a year ago. i want to get my weight back and about 10 kilograms more.

    i bought a pack of "JUMBO" by scitec nutrition in vanilla taste. i always mix it with 1 or 2 bananas and strawberry yoghurt. i dont use water, but milk!

    do you have any other advise for me?

  • @civicaerodeck14 if u wanna put on 10 kg fats then eat pasta, rice, cakes and drink lots of sweet drinks, you will get an insulin high but it will add fats to ur body. If ur looking to put on muscle then lift weights hard core and get more proteins and carbs.

  • Meal replacements are just worthless expensive placebos. You might as well add two scoops of oatmeal, the yogurt (11grams of protein), the strawberries, bananas, and ad 4 eggwhites (4x4=16), and you will get an inexpensive shake with all natural stuff. However, you look great. Peace.

  • @OtorresFitness I don't think you understand Meal replacement. Its quick and easy to make. Bodybuilders need this because I don't alway want to cook. I will pay extra for the conveinence.

    I would pay for what will work & not for what some hyped up company would promote. But yeah. I do take supplements. My favorite is Animal Pak by Universal. With close to 30 years in the market, they must be doing something right when most flash in the pan companies only have a lasting life of maybe 5 years if their lucky.

  • i know this might sound like a dumb question but how can i get motivated to go gym?? im about 6'7 and weigh about 86kg's and i have to get in the gym! i try and eat all the time but im still not gaining weight, i play basketball so i do a fair bit of cardio so is that gonna make it harder for me to gain weight?

  • since youre 6'7 your mucles will always looks a bit smaller then other peoples even though they are actually bigger espescially if you have long legs and arms. hit the gym, start off with small weights then after 2 weeks or so start lifting heavy.

  • Don't focus on gaining weight, focus on getting stronger. To get motivated, set a goal and build a plan to reach that goal. Eat some meat, eggs, or dairy at each meal, but focus on high calorie foods such as natural peanut butter, potatoes, pasta, bananas, high fiber cereal

    chrisiztheman1618 and drtcan Raise good points. There is no magic ANYTHING that will get you motivated, its just a matter of doing it. Once your in a routine it gets easier. Working out is about focus and challenging your self, Screw the posers, Screw the Roid heads, its you vs you try to find your groove and enjoy it.

    Idealy you want to eat 5 to 6 meals a day with protien every 2 to 3 hrs (don't think of it as heaps of protein just often)

  • @view12375758758 depends on how many times you train really. But always half an hour before lifting. Try having coffe, the blackest coffe you can make, to kickstart your engine.
