@GWoodhallFilms Whatever you feel more comfortable with, it really doesn't matter. Besides, if you don't like the ones your sister or dad take then you can try again for FREE! :) If you paid someone to do it then you would have to pay for a re-take. It really doesn't matter.

I dnt take pictures well cuz I have a round face no bone structure and I have pimples and stuff is that gonna make my headaches bad and will the casting people not hire me cuz of my pimples and me not being photogenic

i am so lucky because my brother is doing directing and photagraphy so he will ake my headshot (hopefully) for nothing and if he does good in directing then i will be able to be in his movies hopefully.. :)

You can get a really good deal on headshots if you join SAG, AFTRA or any union but you need a good bit of experience, for someone looking to start out ask college students who are building their portfolios... also Networking is the best skill to have other than talent you wouldnt believe the amount of actors that don't make it big... personally if you never done any production work look into becoming an extra just to get a taste of how everything works out.

The most important thing in a headshot is that it shows some of your personality.
