I tried staying strong during this entire memorial when I watched this, even though I was crying on the inside. Though, once I saw his daughter on stage crying that was where I lost my strength.

I was angry at myself that I didn't let myself see how great of a performer he was and how much generosity he gave to the world until it was too late. Love him or hate him, you have to respect him for making so many people happy through his music. This moving tribute brought home to me what was really going on in the Staples Center that day - a family mourning the loss of their dear brother, son and father.
