why would you wanna import the whole sequence? how can you just import single clips where you want to add an effect to?

@frankytap Because I was color grading. Why would I do one at a time? For individual effects shots just use the T key in Avid to put the in and out at the tail/head of the shot you want. When exporting to automatic duck select Use Marks. Simple as that.

This process used to be free and automatic with Avid Liquid Chrome HD to AE4 about 3-4 years ago. Something happen with either manufacturer and they killed it. Great to see it back again!

Hey guys it can also work on Final Cut Pro X. Use Pro Export FCP by automatic duck.

@Jrod4121 Then you'll have to make that preset yourself. You'll find the options for link to AAF under QuickTime Reference. Hit options, select Link to AAF and enable AAF edit protocol. Save as Link to AAF preset so you don't have to do it each time.
