I agree with you regarding a national childcare program, but I think it ignores the far greater issue that we undervalue the contributions of women in work / society. We allow women to use EI while on Maternity leave, but it only amounts to 55% of income, its like we are punishing people who have children! I think it reflects the fact that our policies are designed to tolerate or mitigate the effects rather than altering the very idea of what work is, how we do it, and how we compensate for it.

a goverment that represents all peoples interests must be compiled of members from all sections of a society. man women children , old and young.

for a true and equal representation.

The people in goverment should be of us all for us all.

Other wise we get the present day corporate facist defacto bleed off of Canadians wealth and rights.

Most are not as good as Men. or they would be there.

In Other areas they have excelled.

There lack of involment through out history and in various cultures suggests this. and or supports it.

I think your views do not come from experience ,but are compiled thru the media etc... your over-programed with social engineering media and have no real life experience.
