It took me close to 2 days to be able to hear straight after this concert, and it was still well worth it.

riff and tone at about 30 seconds reminds me of arcarsenal. i hope at the drive-in has one more show in my lifetime. but i also hope there are many more mars volta shows.

Thomas fills at 1:07 - 1:14 are fucking AMAZING

If you look right below Cedric, you'll see two people with big hair right in the front row. I'm the one on the right. This was easily one of the best shows I've ever seen; although, to be honest, I can hear Cedric better on this recording than I could at the show. It seems those of us front and center were actually a bit past the PA stacks, so all we were getting were the live sound (Omar's amp and Thomas' drums), and since only Omar had a monitor, we could barely hear Cedric.

hey the volume's actually at a reasonable level. when i saw them in dallas the speakers were way too loud

No, it was really really loud at this show. So loud, my ears were still ringing at work the next day. Awesome show though.
