They try to do with Kristen Wiig on SNL what they did with Mo on SNL, and I don't think it's that Kristen is any better or worse or anything, but they definitely don't pull it off. SNL just seems to have a lot of crappy writers a lot of the time.

@dEdGrimley They can't. Kristen Wiig appears to only have one range with every character she plays. Mo Collins played Lorraine....but you wouldn't see any mannerisms resembling other characters she played....like Doreen and Trina...:)

I think Kristen Wiig has good range, but her writers don't give her enough to work with. You can tell it's the writers by watching the rest of the show, most of the skits have weak premises. The digital shorts are written by other people, and that's why they're better. SNL needs Tina Fey back again.
