i kinda have a love-hate relationship with these videos love seeing her young healthy happy singing her heart out but i hate what happened to her i hate thinking she is no more... i will always listen to her and one day will get my kids to listen to her REMEMBER
love the marriage she had with her music and the musician with the guitarist with the dreads that i've seen in several clips. can tell they were so in sync and taken over by the music
@nikki2300dk She was a one-of-a-kind artist with the chops and heart to touch so many in so many ways.
if you can find the Tony Bennett video on his time with Amy you might appreciate this ---- she adored Dinah Washington --- and when Amy met Tony to do the duets, he said she, Amy, reminded him of Dinah. Her eyes opened wide --- "Do you know I love Dinah" - and he tells her Dinah was a friend of his. I love that she got to live that moment; I think in that moment she felt finally at home.
Look I've watched almost all videos from Amy and not tell all .. why every day more always appear. But here at this festival she was in perfect voice, but she is always rocking, either with his performance that is unmatched, or raising a glass of alcohol. Each one needs a fuel. lol TapaNaPantera.
I love the way she asks 'is that alright?' after such mesmerising singing. She really doesn't know just how good she is. This just comes easy to her. Her reasons for writing her own songs are also very admirable. She has/had a good head on her shoulders.
IS HER LAST NAME REALLY WINEHOUSE OR SHE SAYIN DAT BECAUSE SHE ADICTED 2 WINE WILL EITHER WAY NO HOMO BUT SHE IS A BEATIFUL YOUNG LADY N IS SHE A MOMMY IF SHE IS I HOPE SHE HAVE A GREAT LIFE WITH A HER BABY
People who are that opinionated about what they do care about the caliber of people who like what they produce. She holds jazz high on that list of people.
In my experience with artistic people, they often feel the content of their audience is a reflection on the artist. Not that they would turn anyone away, but some opinions are more sought after than others.
Being accepted in jazz is a bigger compliment than acceptance in the mainstream.
@cocomaire right, and that's because mainstream music isn't done for the purpose of music anymore in the majority of cases, but to rake in as much money as possible. it's a business whereas jazz is ALL about the music. and i'm not even a jazz fan

I love that line too. :-) It got me thinking... if you have a reason other than that for not giving a fuck then maybe you do in fact give a fuck.

I think in this case she does give a fuck.
