  • Thumbs up for "dick brick"!

  • The Nagoya castle museum has warning signs on all the exhibits with a glass case that says. "Beware of Glass!!!" and at this one shoe store i went to the ones on sale said "Speciel price!" LMAO

    hahahahahaha

  • I once saw a photo that was taken in a Japanese school with a little guy in forefront who was about 10-12 y.o. in a shirt that said "Too drunk to f**k". Is that pretty common there? I thought that was somewhat incongruent for the culture :-)

  • Dick brick....funny

  • Spitted japanee hot palte pizza donen't contain even 1 correct transtation. Considering other words are not silly, the one who helped English signs mocked the shop owner.

  • they could hire some body to proof ready or were they just in a hurry to get if printed?

  • i think it says click brick if you look closely you can see the c has a brake at the bottom

  • Omg I didn't notice the logo seemed to say dickbrick untill you said it xD I was just like "clickbrick", whats so special about that and then lmao x)

  • The Frankforter is also funny in Germany its called Frankfurter like the city (I dont know really if its the same way in Australia).

Funny to see that they try to do foreign words with the kanji but when you translate them back it becomes a little hard to understand^^

  • For relaxing times.. make it mellow coffee time

  • i have a question, does the japanese alphabet that is similiar to western being related to japan-glish?

  • LOL! Very Funny! I remember in Korea the phrase "Have a Nice Travel!" was a big oops along with a store called "Broomingdales" It was always close but not quite right...

  • I think the last one said "click brick" you could kind of see a space between the lower-case c and l. But still just the concept of dick brick is hilarious :)

  • DICKBRICK?? LOl!

At first I thought it was "clickbrick" because you can see there's a little opening between the bottom of the c and the l.

  • 1:50 yea.. eat tht dogg...in a bun.. while talkin... hmmm

  • are pizzas in japan really very expenive?

like 30 bucks for 1 pizza?

  • they sound like 4th graders are writing them.

  • dick brick ftw!

  • hahaha!!! legos should know better!!! lol i can't stop laughing!!!

  • To my thinking, it says "click brick". That way, it describes Lego...but the unfortunate spacing...eyeah.

  • lol they must get their english translations off of a real bad version of googl translate! XD

  • dude i would totally buy that weirdos and screamers together at last shirt but they are usually the same people...

  • Hahahaha DICKBRICK XDDDDDDDDDDD kind of roflmfao'ed at that, lol

  • I can'y wait till i go too japan XD

  • At first I was thinking, "That's Dick Blick!" which is an art supplies store I used to go to. But then I finally noticed the lego stuff and ended up going, "... Well, there goes that thought." Kinda clever name though, "Click Brick", basically saying how legos work.

  • I think it's actually "Click Brick" if you read it really carefully. Japan-glish rules.

  • flat takoyaki....ha,ha,....the hot dog is crying for help and dick bric,.,,lol

  • I like more Espanglish

  • Ahaha that spitted pizza is definitely not what I pictured....... nice video!

My brother spent a year in Shanghai, China and the "Chinglish" is hilarious! There were benches in a bus station for "the elderly and disabled the sick the pregnant woman Special seat"

At least they try...... I can say hello, goodbye, and how are you doing in Mandarin.... terribly.

  • it is click brick, can you not notice the grap between the C and L cause i can

  • 1:45 - The bread they use for hot dogs in Japan is Danish?

It's a little funny since "Paaskebrød" means "easter bread".. They only make hot dog and hamburger buns. They've never had anything to do with easter.

It doesn't make sense in Danish either.

  • that pizza failed so hard it aint even funny....and where is the plate?

  • As I posted on your other vids I am going to Japan to teach English for a year so. I am going to buy a crap load of those notepads to bring back home to Canada with me and leave them around peoples homes to trip them the heck out lol.

  • dick brick totally....

  • Happy happy joy joy, have super fun time with Japan-glish video

  • Comment removed

  • Not only do they screw up our language we screw up theirs. Why is this interesting?

  • LMFAO DICK BRICK FOR TTHE WIN!!! love you man your videos are the best !!

  • ha ha 5 stars for dick brick.

The sign for the spitted hot plate pizza starts with 'tako' so i was expecting to see a taco of some sort on your plate :p (even tho it was hiragana)

  • @blank000blank

    Yeah tako is octopus :-)

  • i think it said click brick but it did look like dick brick lol

  • dick brick?

  • LOL 1:50 look at the kid on the sign.

  • That last one might be "Click Brick" - 'cuz the blocks kinda click together. Maybe?

  • that was just GREAT!!! LOL

  • LEGO has bricks for EVERYTHING! hahahaha 5*

BTW, why is there so much English in Japan??? Are there that many English speaking people, or are they just fascinated by the language? - which they then destroy. LOL! :)

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom man when i see some of the "japan-glish" i kinda want to fix it .

  • I think the Lego sign says.. Click Brick..

  • @sumbook looks like dick brick but yeah your right it's click brick

  • That notebook one made me laugh the most. XD "... and the functionality." HAHHAHAA!

    I <3 Japan.

  • "Dickbrick" sounds like a kick-ass nickname.

  • Yeah but Lego doesnt sound like an awesome first name

  • i read that last one as click brick...its was only when you pointed out that it looks like dick brick that i noticed :S

  • Damn, that notebook stuff was real deep. Almost made me shed a tear. I wonder who wrote that. It's really beautiful.

  • Funny!

Yeah.. great to be moved to tears by a 100yen notebook!!

  • If I was living there, I'd buy notebooks and collect the covers. Probably even hang them on my wall or something. Do you find more of those kinds of notebooks commonly?

  • Yep!

  • That's cool. But that vid you made about the bad things about living there really discourages me from even living there. My weeaboo levels have lowered drastically because of that vid. But I'm glad you've pointed out some of the negative realities of japanese society too. Gives people like me a heads up of what to expect.

  • Yeah, better to know before you come, right?!

  • True. Kind of gives me second thoughts about moving anywhere outside the U.S. I kinda don't like the way the U.S. system societal system works but.... I think I wanna live my final years somewhere else still. Just gonna have to do much more research on places. Maybe find people who live(d) there and ask them the bad things about those places. I got one guy telling me that Finland is an awesome place to live. But I'm still gonna do some research lol.

  • Is it warm there? in japan?

  • Depends on where u live. The northern islands are cold while the southern are pretty warm.

  • lol good old engrish! Thanks for the findings!

  • More coming!

  • But was it good ? the Spitted Japanese hot plate pizza i mean.

It's definitely not a pizza but it looked tasty to me.

  • I dont like octopus.. :-(

  • lol =P i THINK its SUPPOSED to be "CLICK BRICK" but the c and the l are too close together =P tee hee

  • Always interesting to see these videos. XD

Specially considering how I butcher english on a regular basis. =P

    Thanks for uploading.

  • lol

  • haha dick brick xD

  • nice ending punch line. haha

  • I wonder how they translate these things O.o

Seems like something that Google translator would give you.

  • LOL. Yeah I've been to Japan 4 times now and I always trying to understand what all those english sign really mean. Always wanted to know who actually makes them or who do they hire to translate LOL.

  • haha on the menu it says "frankforter"

  • lmao dick brick

  • Win. Lego DickBricks.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA keep 'em coming!! XD

  • Lots more coming!

  • Hahaha, DickBrick. xDDD

  • funny

  • Why do they have to call the store "Lego Click brick"? Why not just Lego like the stores are here in the US.

  • I think its Click Brick. You can see a small space between the C and L

But I could be wrong >.>' Theres alot of mistakes.

  • It looks like Click Brick. Probably because the pieces look like little bricks and the make a clicking sound when pieced together.

  • lol, dick brick xD

  • Ah, at first when I saw it I thought it was click brick but hmm neither of them make sense, well maybe click brick a little

  • I imagined a pizza of your choice, then once cocked, it will be spit on by the restaurant staff.

  • Lol, great videos! Looking forward to more japan-glish! :)

  • ***** for dick brick

  • dick brick = win

  • With you live

    lol

  • i thinks its click brick but still makes no sense

  • Lego clicks when you push them together. So thats probably what they are hinting at. You can see the lego sign to the left.

  • Loved the pizza lol.

When ever I got anything "questionable" I would swallow it down and then find a nice vending machine so I could drown it in coke.

  • "questionable"...

yes.. eaten a lot that falls into that category!!

  • lol awesome! btw it said click brick XD

  • i think it wasn't dickbrick but clickbrick , if I'm not mistaken XD

haha, thanks man, always get a good laugh outta these =))))

  • Funny, but then again we here in the U.S wear shirts that say stuff in Japanese and we do not know what it really says....I think I saw someone with a tattoo that said Dick Brick in Japan

  • Favorite it and you can get a giggle whenever you want to :-)

  • when I was in Fukuoka .. by BF showed me a sign ( of course I knew what it meant because I lived in Japan and knows how to interpret japenglish ...) anyways the sign in a beauty parlour said " face and body romove " it was my BF's first time in Japan , he turned to me and said " Man don't wanna go to that place " but I really want to take a picture and show everyone... it's much easier in Japan to speak in Japanese .. thx for the video!! love it !!

  • I think a lot of this nihoeigo is oddly poetic in a very surreal sense. PS--hope you accept my schoolgirl vid response. Give a new little partner a break, won't ya tomodachi/

  • Also known as nihoeigo!

  • Paaskebrod in japan? ( 1:40 )

I thought it only existed in Sweden by the name "Korvbrödsbagarn"

  • This is hilarious xD

  • Thanks!

There are 9 more videos on the Japan-glish playlist :-)

  • This is insane.. why don't they check the grammar online or something, that's just pathetic

  • As we showed in the other Japan-glish videos.. it is because they don't care.

They just want to create an image with "cool" English words.. they don't care about accuracy.

  • Whats with the annonations?

  • Trying to give the sweet girl some privacy..

  • It doesnt work too well :P

  • dickbrick xD

  • i think its supposed to be click brick

    fiiiiiiiiiiiiirst!!!!!
