this....is beautiful. I miss Derry so much. It's already been a year and I tear up at how happy I can be in just two towns in the North. My sister loved Belfast as do I....but I always seem to find new charm in both places.... Bein second generation american I can't quite place the accent.....but you sound like the soul of the north and it is good to hear your natural voice comin out so strong in this beautiful rendition.

Absolutely amazing. Your profile page appears a bit inactive. Hopefully that means you're out in the world sharing this and a bit too busy to tend to some youtube channel.

In any case, this cover captures Bobby Sands' lyrics so well. I still tear up hearing stories of Irish suffering, and this song captures the longing for home better than any. Sands' lyrics made this as real as possible for any who could listen. Amazing.

This may be one of your best videos so far.

First of all, you look great the in black & white; and this video has a casual, immediate feel to it that is really enjoyable. You seem yearning and sincere here, & your looking into the camera makes it seem as though you're singing to someone.

The guitar being louder than the vocal doesn't ruin the song this time round, either. Your voice being somewhat in the background, coupled with it's softness, seems to give the song a sort of mystical air.

Just one tiny, wee drawback- you have a great voice but on a number of your vids the guitar is a touch too dominant and it's hard to hear your singing. Would be lovely if you could find some way of balancing the two more evenly.
