  • I BELIVE THE HEAD OF HIS CHURCH IS THE DEVIL... HE IS TAKEING PEOPLE AWAY FROM THE TRUTH......

  • yo u need jesus because if you have no problem paying your gas bill or water bill or any bill at that then you should not put this video up here yo go to christ about your problem

  • parsley is false, deceptive & worships money. when i was on his staff years ago, he would regularly brag about all the "fools" that he "snowed out of their money". Parsley also boasted how he 'would never have to do another day of back-breaking labor again" because "all the hicks can be conned so easily". comments like these repulsed me so when i confronted him on his reprehensible attitude/manipulations/false teaching, he fired me & my wife and kicked our family(& my cousin)out of his church

  • Yeah, just met a church-goer the other day who goes to this World Harvest church. He gave me all the right answers except "God wants us to be rich and prosperous"---.... I corrected him and showed him the words of Jesus about rich being a snare and impossible to go to heaven for man without Christ. I wish I had shown him the church of Laodiceans in Revelations... but I just told him to get alone and read his Bible to soak his mind in it, and make sure his pastor is telling the truth.

  • valid points but will never be recieved due to your bitterness!!!

  • @14goldylocks U might be right - but this was made after trying far more gentle approaches... I guess it just proves I am as human as the next guy... succumbing to the frustration of situation... perhaps the Lord will find someone with more patience to speak to Parsley... maybe that someone is you... :) GBU

  • @christoferL

I try to keep my gaze on God as my father, for so long i use to look up to mighty men of God and they would fail me... I believe that God is big enough to take care of all this. This is the problems i have? ...I focus on this stuff whilst people i know are going to Hell..So i just don't get involved because the enemy would trap me and put me in a place of Bitterness and the only person it ever hurt was myself...

  • When has Pastor Parsley tried to sell the anointing? I have never heard my Pastor and mentor ask anyone to put a fleece out to God. He tells you to sow what God tells you and he doesn't even require you to sow the seed. I have just sent in prayer clothe before. He encourages you to and he do believes in the sow/reaping doctrine, which I do I believe that was a poerful revelation God gave Dr. Oral Roberts. If you going to knock that doctrine you should knock everyone eho teaches it.

  • @preacherman777bb I have advertisements and emails where thats exactly what he's done... even have shown them on video... I do believe in planting seeds... but its how it is abused that is wrong.

  • WOW. Shocking!

  • Parsley is one of the biggest narcissists on the planet, aside from our sitting "president".

  • No! you are not being judgmental. You are exercising discernment. The church needs a lot more of that. The popular "Don't-criticize-men-of-God" argument is not valid in my opinion. The Bible is full of warnings about false teachers, of which there many active today. Keep speaking the truth in love, brother.

  • parsley is such a shame. whenever i see this guy he is talking about money. your video makes me sad and angry. those people give christianity a bad name.

  • Anyone who can't see right through Rod Parsley and his scams, must be very sheltered......It's people like Parsley who "take the name of the Lord in vain" and they do it knowingly......Jesus asked the right question: What does it profit a man to gain the entire world but to loose his own soul? I wonder how much a soul is going for these days?

  • Don't worry about offending people. False teaching must be called out. We have a biblical right to rebuke those who pervert the sacred scriptures.

  • You should send his envelope back to him and asked him for a seed gift. Tell him if he sends you a seed gift you'll prayer over his clothe and anoint it and send it back to him and God will save his ministry. Just a thought....

  • @TomSondergaard and what a great thought it was.....

  • he is a talmudic{respects talmud}zionist. jewish in disguise..mabye...seed time and harvest are from the agricultural parts of the talmud...go read them for yourselves and u will see where they got it from..i do not respect the talmud or rod parsleys tricks..although i used to fall for it.he did not tell me of the talmud so i dont trust evangelist anymore.goes for most all of them.

  • @IwasaBushfan i dunno about all that - I just know he just isn't right...

  • I've been feeling the same thing for some years now............thanks for the video

  • I saw a clip of him which I'm sure can be found on youtube of him saying "Send me your money I deserve it". I was shocked. I feel terrible for all of the people that actually watch and believe this garbage.

  • This is shocking

  • Not only does Parsley make the body look foolish, he makes evangelicals look like hateful warmongers. Rod Parsley: "God created the United States to kill Muslims." And we're somehow supposed to be different than extremists like Al Qaida?

  • I watched rods telecast today (31st Dec 09) on the Daystar channel and was astounded to hear that you can also donate in other ways ie, you could make a gift of a car ,a boat or an aeroplane, i almost spat my coffee over my tv screen, please somebody tell me i was hearing things, it went from a $50 donation to a plane what next

  • One of the more prevalent views that has spurred a lot of attention in recent years is the healing handkerchiefs. This is where a man of God (Evangelist, Pastor, or Spiritual Leader) claims that God has given them the ability to heal people by the use of their clothing items.

  • This belief comes from the misunderstanding of Acts 19:11-12; Paul could heal in Acts when the church was in its infancy, but could not in the rest of his letters (Phil. 1:25-27, I Tim. 5:23, and 2 Cor.12:7-10). Does God heal today? You better believe He still does! However, He has not given any one individual or group of individuals the ability to do miraculous healing.

  • Very good video ChristopherL. I believe your being a bit modest though\ about Rod. I have virtually zero respect for most people on TBN. I used to watch their programming somewhat regularly, then I found out about the lies, extortions, threats to "heresy hunters" and the like.

I dont believe these people are Christians at all. Just making a lucrative business. Makes me sick.

  • I watched this video and read all the comments. When it comes to situations like this, we really need to use our spiritual discernment which we are all gifted with...I have to be honest and say...I don't discern anything good about anyone asking for money for a miracle (& calling it a seed of faith)

When I read the gospels I never saw Jesus asking for money before he performed a miracle. I think you need to keep monetary seeds of faith and people's desperate need for miracles very separate.

  • Despite being an atheist.... I can understand that people can get into this preaching crap with the best intentions and that they really think they believe it. My wild guess is that they quit their job to get this sort of thing full time. Also they probably take on the needs of others within their group and find themselves desperate for money. That is when the business and mail order experts start looking real good to them...soo their ministry grows larger and their need for money does also.

  • If RP had 12 million members he would still be wrong. Numbers don't make a man right with GOD. Jesus turn away the crowds when they followed him for the wrong reasons. Jesus is interested in QUALITY not QUANTITY. If some one wants to see Jesus they know where to look and where not to look....even sinners know this.Never mind RP christoferL spend ever second of your time with JC. He will make your way straight.

  • That is really bizarre.

  • All I ask is don't judge what goes on here if you have NEVER been to a service and experienced the powerful services. This isn't your three points and a poem service. Every services is life changing.

  • jmills - never been in person - but have watched many services... the production values are higher than many touring pop acts... the music is first rate - the atmosphere is as electrifying as any concert in mainstream... these are the things I see and I wonder - isn't that overkill? Would production cost so much if they cut back on show a little? Maybe its just me - thats why I asked for your opinion...

  • "Jesus always wants the best for his believers"?

Jesus does not give as the world gives (Jn 14:27)

The more I read about this case where RP had to pay 3m dollars... the more I am thinking - somethings really wrong over there at WHC... RP has called the consequences of beating a child by one of his employees an attack by the Devil? If what I am reading about the WHC behavior towards the Faieta's is true - I would say WHC has acted disgracefully.

  • u should do some investigating of ur own...

ministrywatch . com gave RP an F in transparency (in contrast, Billy Grahm had an A)

j - I love your dedication towards what u believe... but there's a lot going on - according to news resources, credible investigators, etc - that u just seem to turn a blind eye to...

I am not saying RP doesn't love Jesus... but that doesn't mean he is above correction and rebuking - in fact, since u work for him - U should be speaking up to RP!

  • Comment removed

  • jm - seriously? Hand and hand? Then I ask you as a brother in Christ to let Rod know about me - I can send you a phone number - I would love to speak to him myself sometime... let him know I do not understand his methods but I am open to hearing the explanation... I am open to correction...

    thanks in advance!

  • jmills - no - I took you at your word - I believe you work for and with him. As for RP avoiding his critics - that should be a huge red flag for u - as for bragging about numbers and claiming that must mean he is doing something right - remember - Islam has 2-3 billion members as well...

  • @christoferL hey i know jordan! we both go to whc....and trust me cristoferL...you don't want us to put you in contact with mr. parsley. he will EMBARASS you in a debate...

  • @vandyboy25 yeah - right - trust me vandy - there is nothing to fear when talking to the likes of parsley because I wouldn't have to think about what to say - the Holy Spirit is in me - and will tell me what to say. Its a wonderful gift from Jesus... as for parsley - I have learned more since this video - and can say this... I don't fear con men like him. Not one bit.

  • jmills - The Word is still the Word Rev. 11: 2 is your place, you can "come out of her my people" You can not say the Truth/Jesus, you can only be the Truth/Jesus and none of Him was in any of the merchandising scheme R.P. was grift'n Rev 18:12 & 13 ... and mens souls ... that's R.P. and the likes of him.

Your 20 years will have to be answered to God. The bible records clearly what HE has said about the whoreish daughter you call a "church". It's no more than a fraternal lodge w/ a tax break

  • Comment removed

  • jmills - while I am fully aware of this passage - I don't think anyone out there got the impression that we could send it in without money and expect it returned... the thing is marketed as a fund raiser. To say its not a ploy to get money simply discredits you - or your point of view. Maybe you can't see it. Maybe you are seeing things through 20 yr old glasses? All I know is that the more I look at these mailers and his videos - the more convinced I am that RP's way isn't what God intended.

  • Comment removed

  • If those things are true - then Amen - but that doesn't mean RP is infallible - and it doesn't mean he can contradict scripture which teaches that the gift of the Holy Spirit is not for sale.

  • the outer court is full of them Rev. 11:2 and R.P. is the poster boy. Who ever is confusing his circus ring master performance with ANYTHING!!! Jesus said would seal, mark, or seperate His people is getting exactly what they deserve Jehovah is God, not the belly of R.P. Please Chris, do not even spend another mlisecond of your live in any way concerned about this guy and the likes of him ... God isn't Rev 11:2.Let him have his "christianity". You are not called to follow. You are One with Him

  • jmills - so as an employee of Parsley is it fair to say that you might be a little biased in your evaluation of his ministry? If it takes MILLIONS to run a church that size then maybe it shouldn't BE that size... how many of the thousands of members of World Harvest does Parsley pastor? How many does he personally interact with? Can I show up at a service and expect to be able to talk to Rod afterwards like I can in a small church? Books and CD sales? Selling God? bah...

  • Comment removed

  • Would I like Parsley to start sending people away? No. But I would like him to seek funding through an honest request - not by baiting people with a point of contact for a miracle... I would like to see him getting one on one with his congregation... as for the books and cd's - thats a huge mess that seriously challenges Christianity today... covering costs and making profits are two dif things...

  • Comment removed

  • The day is coming when I will end up visiting world harvest - and I will meet Parsley, and hopefully - I will get to speak with him... until them - I am left to try to understand his ministry but what he offers to the public... can you tell me - by the way - who and what attacked his ministry to where he needed to replace 3 million dollars? How did that happen?

  • Ok - something else about this 'ministry' -

    1) Don't the students pay tuition and fees for the college and prep schools? 2) Multiple church locations including Latin, Metro InnerCity - that should be supported by the people attending them 3) Clinics and missions are great - but its hard to feel comfortable giving to a man who lives in a home that is like a mansion, has his own jet, boats, designer suits, etc etc...

  • jmills - actually - I've seen a lot more of Parsley 'behind the scenes' then you might think... and I know many who support him... and I think they're nuts... but I love em - they are my bros and sisters in Christ... as I believe Rod is too...

  • jmills - I could've sent in a prayer cloth w/o a seed & they would've returned it to me? That's something I didn't know. How do u know this to be true? Additionally - my problem here is that Rod is essentially selling the anointing of the Holy Spirit - his whole angle is u reap what u sow so sow plentifully to receive plentifully. Adding the 24hr deadline strikes me as a sales tactic... but like I said - I wanted ur opinions on this. I assume u think I was wrong in this video?

  • All I know is that when you spend a lot of money (on things like stages - lighting - special effects - four color printing - etc etc etc) it costs a lot of money...

  • Comment removed

  • times change - true - but I think its a huge mistake when churches become so large they become organizations that need millions to support...

  • I agree with you about Rod Parsley. Everytime I watch him he tries to make me guilty about being poor and not sending my last dollar to him. HE MAKES ME SICK!

  • We have control pimps and pulpit pimps. it seems we also have controlling pulpit pimps.

We dont have to be prostitutes.

  • HalleluYAHWEH Our Father.

How on this Earth can you show this man's evil way of taking money from people and then call him a Brother in Christ??

Mar 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

    Brother Phil.

  • Chris I do agree that Rod Parsley is going about the wrong way to raise money since we cannot buy the gift of the Holy Spirit but I'm sure he is also under alot of stress.I think it's crazy how God showed me this scenario a few days ago with His servants going about the wrong way receiving offerings. We should pray for them because I'm sure we somehow miss it when we don't pray for them since they are part of the christian leadership.I mean even Peter screwed up later in his ministry.Pray.

  • I don't know who exactly Rod Parsley is, but overall I cannot stand TBN or any of type of this selling of God or selling of the Gospel. Very sad. Good video Cristofer.

  • Real ministeries are covered by the grace of God, and are not hung up on Money. One question is, What is he doing with the money?

  • God bless you brother, anyone selling the word of God, or the music He gives them is headed for curses... be still and know that He is God.... vengence is HIS! great video, Thank you.

  • You know what's interesting about that? You are right, anyone who is selling God's word in this manner is headed for the covenant curse, but the irony is that these televangelist types will pronounce a curse on YOU for "attacking" his ministry, hence all the talk of the devil attacking his ministry.

  • 1 Tim 6:3-10: If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth AND WHO THINK THAT GODLINESS IS A MEANS TO FINANCIAL GAIN. (Cont)

  • (Cont) But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GET RICH FALL INTO TEMPTATION AND A TRAP AND INTO MANY FOOLISH AND HARMFUL DESIRES THAT PLUNGE MEN INTO RUIN AND DESTRUCTION. FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS A ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL. SOME PEOPLE, EAGER FOR MONEY, HAVE WANDERED FROM THE FAITH AND PIERCED THEMSELVES WITH MANY GRIEFS (cont).

  • (Cont) The above scripture (plus many others dealing with money) seem to apply to Rod Parsley and people like him.

I sure wouldn't want to be him on the Day of the Lord for I am sure that Jesus is not pleased with this fleecing of His saints.

  • You are so right!

  • Can I have some of your money? :) See, I didn't even use God or religion as an excuse! I like the straightforward begging approach!

  • bleh, agreed with LiftAloft...

  • Sickening to say the least

  • Unbelievable. Just when you think the bar can't get any lower, Parsley takes religion to an all new low.

    Thanks for the info.

  • I am soooo glad I am not on that junk mail list! My blood pressure couldn't handle it. :-)

  • threw up in my mouth a little bit...

  • LiftAloft... Well put.

  • Gotta agree with ModernDeism Chris... Burn it dude. When Paul spoke of "seed" in 2 Corinthians 9 and the collecting of for use in ministry he stated in verse 5 "and not as of covetousness". Many of these teachers are perversely twisting Gods word to encourage carnality and greed. To give covetously i.e. wanting an increase in return is an investment, not a gift, and not Godly motive. There will be some that would shoot down this video, but dont let them get to you bro... Cont...

  • ....Ye should earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints... Jude 3b

  • YES God will make you rich through prayer just give all your money to me first!

  • And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Acts 19:11-12

  • Northern - amen - but how much was paul asking for in order to pray over and send out these handkerchiefs?

  • The Green Prosperity Prayer Handkerchief is a cloth that Don Stewart has personally prayed over, blessed, and anointed. Don believes the prayer cloth is a Touch Point of Hope to help people release their faith because, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23) Thousands of people around the world who have used the Green Prosperity Prayer Handkerchief have given inspiring testimonies of the miracles of healing, prosperity, and spiritual salvation.

  • Q: Are prayer cloths in the Bible? A: Yes. In Acts 19: 11-12 it says: And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

  • Q: How does the Green Prosperity Prayer Handkerchief work? A: Don Stewart lays his hands on the Green Prosperity Prayer Handkerchiefs and prays over them. As soon as possible the handkerchief is sent to you. Just as with the Apostle Paul, there have been many great testimonies of the miracles of healing, prosperity and spiritual miracles from people who have used the Green Prosperity Prayer Handkerchief.

  • The above comments are from Don Stewerts website, it's about the prayer cloth he also sends people a prayer cloth.

  • Interesting, there's no doubt that Rod Parsley can be a great preacher when he wants to be, but in the last 2 years he has become obsessed about money, some televangelists have million dollar mansions just wondering if it really is Gods blessing myself, don't get me wrong it's all good sending gifts to ministries if they are using the money right, but i'm not sure about Rod Parsley now after seeing this.

  • @NorthernHero097 I am not sure of quite a few of the TBN crowd. Don't get me wrong; there are some that are okay, but their mantra always seems to be dollar signs.

  • I have always believe what Northern Hero is saying ESPECIALLY of TBN.

  • Great video! Rod is a brother but he sure needs to straighten out.

  • and yeah Rod is a con man and a pimp in the pulpit.

  • ..."that is for your discerment in the matter.

The ministry of God in heaven & the words of Jesus,is of "divine appointment & can never become, bankrupt".

  • Good for you cristoferL: as Jesus tossed out the merchants out of the "church".

  • The only thing that mail is worth for is the fireplace.
