  • thank you!!!! i was looking for something like this...hehehe :* ...thank you very much!!! ehhehe

  • this is what i love about blues!! you play the way you feel ..and it always sounds good!

  • Well I finally found the way I would like to play and now I have something very cool to work towards...that was awesome absolutely awesome.....thanks....well I best get practicing lol!!!

  • bravo bravo thanks eh lot dude that was super fun.

  • blues aint all about tempo and bs, its about feel. So you keep rocking man!

  • i had fun on that one. thanks.

  • the vid was nice and all but you really need to work on your tempo .....like use a metronome or somthin

  • I was going to make this kind of video, for everyone's benefit but now I don't have to :P , great video, reminds me I have to find myself a good teacher...

  • thank you so much, i dig how you speed it up, it forces you to play differently!

  • That was really fun! I was just telling my friend that I wish I had someone to jam with just to practice my blues scales, and poof, there you are. Awesome, thanks.

  • is that an aria pro????

  • i think its more e minor with the blues notes. just my opinion

  • its not. i tried to play e minor and it kinda works not really

  • i just love blues soloing... thanks for the video

  • Thanks man, I'm use this to jam with cause I love E blues on acoustic.. And I'm totally gonna steal your rythym!

  • put a how to play on the intro and i little after that its awesome man

  • It called a 1-4-5. That means you play the chords that match the 1st, 4th and 5th notes of the major scale. I have a more jazzy E blues to play with on my channel, go check it out. I can post it here, if you like.

  • Mate, take no notice of all the geeks trying to work out what song this is. WHO CARES!

It's an awesome blues backing. I crank up my amp and play along with you for about an hour a night,

    Great rhythm!

    Thanks.

  • Thanks very much! Awesome may be a bit strong, but I'm glad its working for you :)

  • I as well use this for blues solo practice, much more fun than a basic 145 chord backing, can be duller than watching cells split. Not this tho! Love it and thanks, I envy your students.

P.S. Plus, it's a nice touch with no speaking. As lame as it is, I give a thumbs up back at ya whenever I'm done.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • It's not a "song." It's a blues chord progression in the key of E Major. Just a sample backing track.

  • Yeah, but i've listened to a song similar to this track before

  • You might have heard the "12 bar blues", or something simular to that song. Many blues improvisasions are based on that :)

  • this helped quite a bit for my blues

  • hell ye "rocky mountain way" hell of a song good guitar skillz

  • which song is this =?

  • a blues progression

  • one of the most helpful videos on here. thanks a million

  • dude thanks alot i have improved alot on mi blues soloing thanks alot man

  • thanks a lot for this

  • haha that was awesome jammin music

i can jam to that for a long time

helps you practice new solo techniques too because theres different variations of the shuffle in there

    that was awesome

  • thought this was a great piece and a blast to play along to. Thanks

  • You have 3 beats in some measures and 5 in others when you stray from that basic shuffle vibe.

  • ?what tuning and were do you teach like wat state

  • I hope you tell your students to use a metronome; your timing is all over the place.... quite hard to play along to.

Shame, because otherwise the guitar work is very nice and understated.

  • wad guitar ur using? is that gibson? sounds awesome! plus good playing technique! well executed my friend! good guitar with good technique is like drinking beer with smoking ciggy! they juz a Perfect match!

  • hours of fun!!

  • There are no rules to music.

  • super c'est niquel

  • I kind of doubt that.

  • ur obviously not, cause thats not what this is about. Its about expressing yourself through blues solos. feeling the music and playing from the heart not the head

  • oh man! it was nice tryin to solo to this one. i've also been looking everywhere and finally found it!! thanx!! ;)

  • There ain't no such thing as a Rock or Blues or Flamenco or anything else key. If you're really good you should be able to play in any key regardless of genre. The best pros all write in several keys. Some of them in all keys. It really depends on the mood, and it is said that each key imparts a slightly different feeling to listeners. Happy, sad, bright, dull, melancholy, dark, mystical,

    light,frivolous,serious,angry,romantic, etc.

  • dude i have been looking EVERYWHERE for a blues jam video. thank you so much!!

  • Ya thanks bro

    cheers

  • NIce man!

  • i like your guitar dude...

  • i just looooove it!

    i've listened it twice ^^

  • its just the 12 bar blues in the key of E

learn the 12 bar blues and you can play it anywhere, i find its a great thing to know. you can jam with anyone else who knows it and its really fun to jam to

  • ya do it great! master!

  • A minor is the key of rock home boy

  • E minor is better. But A isn't bad.
