  • I remember when someone on my BMQ left their rifle unattended...

  • canadian forces recruiting from Vodkaland now??

  • you have been told!

    'ave a good night...

  • Never met this guy personally but judging by this video he is the nicest Warrant Officer I've ever seen and trust me I've seen many.

  • Don't worry Warrant, it WILL be locked.

  • Still remember sitting in my room with some buds with a movie playing, protien bars all over the desk and a bag of mints on the bed; wearing colourful swimtrunks and no shirt getting ready for Farnham when a female MS walked in and we almost she ourselves. 2 weeks before grad she just asks "you guys headin to Vimy week?" - "Yes MS" - "well fuck have fun then, don't get caught with those; good movie too"

  • Ah I remember the crazy wind that could swing a door open in your face. Summer 2011; May 9-Aug 18

  • I would have either been A) been raped for that B) Have my room look like something from a war zone and then a note w/ a smiley face saying "fix it" or C)....All of the above?

  • Bet You had to right a 2000 word essay about why your personal locker should be locked lol I had to make a 500 word essay about 1 button on my uniform being undone lol.

  • haha

    awesome

  • It's a good way to get his message across, because the whole platoon will know what happened about 20 mins after he sees this video. It's a lesson you won't forget.

For anyone watching this going in to BMQ... well... let's just say that this video could have ended much worse haha

  • we were out in the feild for BMQ(L) and before supper my corse officer was like " good news troops we have lots of food, bad news its a whole lot of COCKSANDWICH! GAS! GAS! GAS!

  • One day my Section's Sergeant came in and asked "What day is it today?"

    "I don't know Sergeant"

    "It's THROW SHIT DAY!"

  • @DEQR ROFL

  • That's rad. Great guy for doing that.

  • ok, they did that video for the ones who are going on their bmq for sure... but listen new troops, its a total lie!!!! your kit is never safe even locked!!

  • This is the nicest warrent officer I've ever seen.. You're lucky he didn't yell at you for an hour then digest all your kit and shit it out for you to clean up infront of everyone!

  • You are very fucking lucky that your shit didn't end up on the other side of your room...

  • WTF a WO Van Doo didnt throw your kit around. thats fucking rare as hell.

  • CANADA, BITCHES!

  • How is trashing eachothers rooms working together as a team? I am non military, but I am diplomaticly asking how is it team work when you get your room/locker trashed because you have made a mistake.. Why not just punch the persone in the face is be done with it then?

  • @chevette47 its not for team work its to teach them that procedures like locking your locker MUST be done or else, baby steps up to the bigger training

  • @chevette47 How can they trust you to keep an assault rifle safe and secure if your cant keep your toiletries secure?

  • @reidmeyers That makes sense, I did not think of it that way.

  • @reidmeyers Relax there buddy. I am no expert as I am just a civilian, although I am going through the application process. This was just one of those little slip ups you learn from. Can you tell me that BMQ is not stressful or nervous enough? You make a mistake in training, they no doubt let you know about it so you can learn. Up at 5am bed at 11pm and God only know how much stuff you do during that period. 1 tiny mishap; that they will learn from and you bit the recruit's head off.

  • @BADBIKERBENNY I can assure you I am quite relaxed. But those are rules that you should take seriously. Yes they will definitely tell you when you screw up, its better to know the reasons behind it before hand so you don't screw up. Heads up, you may want to set your alarm a bit earlier than 5:00 if you want to make 5:05 PT :P

  • @reidmeyers hahahahahahaha omg....that was a joke right?!?!

  • @SSFTC no

  • @reidmeyers alright man the point of the nit picking in BMQ is get you used to doing everything perfectly..they dont actually give a shit if you can lock a locker or sweep up after you make a mess..they want you to pay attention to detail!! when it comes to your job in the military no mistakes are acceptable even if it is as small as a pad lock not done up. trust me i know!! (4 yrs in as a combat engineer)

  • @SSFTC I know...Thats exactly what I said in my previous comments :P those are the reasons I was referring too. Attention to detail is the one phrase from basic I will never forget.

  • @chevette47 You were somewhat clarified already, but what you need to understand is that none of the staff on training courses are included in that "team", they are purely there for leadership and guidance, The team building comes in when you check over each others kit to make sure its locked, layed out properly. And the reasons you check over this stuff is so you learn to develop attention to detail and maintain some discipline

  • poor soldiers only have vaseline for down time...

  • very nice of them to do that..

  • Shit I wish I was that lucky when I left my boots out of place someone scuffed them and trashed my room and made me clean it all up again all while I was on the shiter

  • That's definitely as lucky as it gets. I thought this video was going to be a video of how they set up the booby traps inside your room then this happens. Damn.

  • you are lucky. if that had happened to me the kit monster would have found it and all that stuff would have been thrown all over my room

  • @Amak503 i think that recruit used up his one and only freebie.lol

  • hahahahaahaha!
