Thank you very much for uploading this awesome song from Abba.I didn't know that they had a video for this song.I remember when it came out in 1980 and believe me I still can't stop digging in after all these years.Woww!.
Everytime I watch an ABBA clip on youtube I realize again you have to listen to ABBA, not watch them. The 80's fashion just doesn't do justice to their timeless music
I have been a big ABBA fan for more than 32 years and i just love this track, i was 7 year old when the Super Trouper album came out, my father went out to buy me a copy of this album as an early christmas present..
The day I purchased Super Trouper back in Nov 1980 I had to work until midnight but when I got home I put on headphones and introduced myself to one of the greatest LP's of all time. And when I heard this track I did a double take because it was just so perfect!
I was mocked for even possessing this album 20 years ago. But listening to this song again today confirms to me again that indeed Super Trouper is one of the greatest pop albums ever recorded. Every single song here is a total classic - even the unheralded ones like Me And I, Andante Andante and The Piper. This could very well be Abba's finest hour, and indeed, all of pop.
You know how you can listen to a song and you feel like you can't breathe and you get all light headed and you feel so happy you could just faint...... someone catch me....
'Me and I' and 'The Name Of The Game' are two of the best songs ever recorded... by ANYONE! It's no wonder ABBA enjoyed such phenominal success: they gave the world such an incredible catalogue of beautifully crafted pop music which will stay with us forever, 400 million albums sold and counting. If the rumours of a reunion are true, they really owe it to the Aussies to make one last trip Down Under, maybe do a couple of shows at the Olympic Stadium Sydney, televised around the world. I'd go!!
The lyrics illustrate just what a clever lyricist Bjorn was as his songwriting matured. Fabulous vocal from Frida too, with Agnetha scorching in her highest register.

The whole of the "Super Trouper" album is brilliant. Everything on it could have been a massive hit single.

Some people complain about being a backup singer. I would have LOVED to have been a backup singer for them.

Are we still so behind like in the 80's...???? Most Abba songs like anything else has to do with quantum physics..........

Great sound on your vid here! Nice and loud without being too hot and overdriving my speakers.

This is from the Dick Cavett show, I mean the vid. Just pure ABBA! Best in the whole world. Then. Now. Forever.
Angels from above that somehow got together. Just a perfect job!

really great. the good thing here is putting the studio version on the live performance, as the studio version is so much better.
