I really don't like Turtle Beach, I had bought X1's and kept them for 3 or 4 months and they sounded good but made my ears sweat. After having the X1's for that long I wanted to get a new pair of headphones. So I bought X11's because X1's were discontinued. With the X11's there is always some sort of hissing sound in the headphones, and it gets annoying.

i have the orcas and they shit on the turtle beach sound quality... i went on amazon and bought a zalman microphone that clips on to the orcas and its much better....i use that setup with the astro mixamp and its is amazing, plus i save alot of money

srry i didnt necessarily mean that the orca sound quality was better than the px5... just the rest of the turtle beach products, and with the mixamp its even better. but yes the px5 gets bluetooth and all that stuff which is nice, but im not too much into the wireless stuff... i figure u save money not getting the wireless headset and u still get a better connection since its wired.... but thats personal preference... my setup is different and im sure urs is too

if u watch my latest setup vid u'll see what i did.... at first it didnt fit the razer cable but i turned it into a boom mic... its not the nicest lookin thing but it works perfectly... i used some flexible wiring and now it can move it around and position it like a reg mic

@tookewlfuru I dont think the sound on the orcas are the best as they could have made them closed back type to passively increase the lows. I noticed turtle beach has a insane amount of bass which almost completely drowns out the mids and highs where sounds like footstep for FPS games are needed. Still, it a very odd comparison.

Cool just got the razer orcas the device that raises the sound is called a mixamp just so you know and do you know how to do a mic mod on the orcas

@SuperSexy602 if you visit the site i gave you im sure he has some ideas and if not ask him using his email. personally, i have a ps3 and i would just hook up my bluetooth ps3 headset and then just pin it to my shirt or rubberband it around the orca headset. then just have the voice output setting on the ps3 set to default so their voice would come through the orcas.
