Thanks! Personally I think it's a girl since it's hinted (in phonetics) that her name full name is Leona, because she has female-exclusive hair items in the game and a female voice actor. Namco did a good job at making her gender ambiguous though and most of the above arguments can be countered easily haha.

Hmm, I don't think it's T'ai Chi. It has some of the punches, but the way he fights isn't very T'ai Chi'ish. Something similar though.
