(AP) New technology will soon allow oil rigs to drill directly through Polar bears, caribou, penguins, and environmentalists.

Oil executives hailed the technology not so much for the marginal increase in drilling efficiency as for better ability to, "f*** the environment. F*** it right in the a**." This according to Richard B. Astor, CEO of Reckless Endangerment Energy Corp.

"My vision for the future is a clean planet. Clean like a cue ball -- denuded and devoid of life," said Mr. Astor.

But seriously out here in Oregon when I drive to the coast I see what looks like beautiful lush forests on either side of the road, but I know that it's really just a false front to the clear cut behind it.
