  • Awesome work. I am building a creature this weekend. Some notes on accuracy:

    1. The movie creature had no visible teeth or fangs.

    2. The box art shows the belly plates a lighter color than the main skin, and most modelers follow this scheme, but promotional color photos of the original creature exist and the belly scales were darker than the main body. Sort of a bluish grey aqua. Just sayin'.

Again, awesome job, especially to Wilkinson, DeMarco, and Elsberry.

  • This was awesome, I hit the like button just for the opening alone, good job!

  • Steven DeMarco's 'blue and yellow' is excellent, a superb twist on the usual 'creature from the black lagoon' ofcourse we can all say he's green but lets not forget the film is black and white, so it's up to you to decide what colours he is. Along with the Steve Lee and Todd williams, he is in my top three, what will say however as a negative point, is that the creature does not have teeth.

  • Hey modelers , did you love that Creature by Steven DeMarco? Wow, that was an awesome paint job if I ever seen one of an Aurora Creature Model. Lot's of good models that entered. Hats off to all modelers! Even the begginers had a great showing. I was blown away by that custom built diorama of the 2 creatures fighting.

  • Dang I missed it I had mine ready to enter too!
