  • God, hes terrible. Also, ur not supposed to flick ur wrist like that!

  • How fast r those being thrown at him? 20/25 mph? No wonder why he only misses like 2 or 3. In a game most good infielders throw about 40/55 mph. I'd like to see him get a scoop or a pick in a real game.

  • good first base pick up drill

  • Great drill for soft hand... we do the same with the infield training glove ... keep up

the good work. One suggestion is have him do the drill with his body in a correct fielding position .. leg shoulder width left leg just a minute forward .. relax athletic position. otherwise the rest is great... Again one of our best college drill .. thank for sharing.

  • Nice job... Remember, on a real infield (dirt, sand or clay) the bounce will not be the same because of how soft it is.

  • you're glove is to big. get an infielders glove

  • @joeyd430 it look like a 1st basemens glove to me

  • This is a good drill however I would like him to incorporate lateral footwork or some type of foot movement instead of just moving the glove. Standing still during a drill can bring on bad habits.

  • i love when these type of groundballs get hit to me

  • whoever is throwing these short hops has got to be a professional. these short hops are beautiful and consistent

  • Do these everyday in high school baseball.

    Except we call them short-hops.

  • After doing this drill put the ReactionPro training pad in front and pick off of it. Forces the athlete to deal with unpredictable bounces.

  • O COMON PUT SUM UMPH IN THE THROW.

  • great video

  • great video ill work on that drill during the season!! thanks

  • That isn't how your supposed to field a ground ball. Your supposed to stay in front of it and have the glove flipped in front of you, not take it on the bounce.

  • Thanks for your comment. you are right, this is not how to field a ground ball, however that is not the purpose of this drill. If you read the description, this is a drill to work on building quickness and confidence in your glove hand. The purpose of the drill is to show how coming to get the ball is better than letting the ball play you. If you can get good at the pick drill, ground balls will seem much easier. Thanks for the comment!

  • @karafinocchio yeah. what the first guy said. lol
