Why was this question spammed? It was perfectly logical and to the point of the video. Yes, the lyrics speak of dealing with the extreme heat of summer plus one of the girls being dumped by her boyfriend. While the original song and video captures the essence of the story, the remixed edition makes it more of a beachy summer dance tune, something to make you forget your troubles and just have fun. This version should have been called "Its A Beautiful Summer" for that reason.

It's hard for me to choose which version I like better. Personally, my vote goes for the remix here. I love the faster tempo and the video they made for it, but the original has a memorable back beat as well and the original video actually depicts the lyrical content of the track.
