No disrespec t to whoever put this video together, but I've always thought Scorsese was an overrated hack. I've never seen this movie, but i think it looks a bit too much like Sky Captain and theworld of tomorrow in places. And Mean streets. And Twister. and Psycho. It lessens my enjoyment of the song, and totally distracts from the story in the song.
Very well done, coupling this song with a very good study of one of America's most fascinating 20th century pioneers in the fields of aviation, film, and whatever else he set his mind to. Leo did OK, as long as he keeps his political mouth shut & works in a historical context. The star of this work was the real Howard Hughes - a vastly under-appreciated 20th century icon.
This movie was excellent. With Leo playing that part, I felt like I was actually watching a man go insane. He totally drew me in! It was like nothing I've ever experienced before. He's just a fantastic actor, and I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy looking at him nude, although that wasn't the point of the movie. Still, I have to thank whoever chose him for that role. He is an Adonis, and I want him and his hot body. What a handsome man!!!!
more than the movie (although its brilliantly done) the song Landed is amazing. I would have never thought to put the two together, but kudos for doing it. (And the only to make it better would have been to show Ben playing the piano- I agree with PRSinister27)
My favorite movie the song totaly captures Howard Hughes and his flying escape and the women he dated Leo was such a perfect choice for this role totaly believable. Because of this movie im am now totaly obseesed w all leos movies. Great Job song and vido are amazing!!!!
that's funny, because it's actually out of sync just a tad on youtube. When the engine fails on the second crash, the plane is supposed to dip with the drum roll. Just to give you an idea of what youtube does to timings. I'm just glad people get to see it.
Surprisingly, that was very well done. You should add some live Ben Folds footage. Whether or not he is actually playing the song wouldn't so much matter, just get some general footage of him playing, add some slow-motion touches occasionally, and that would be awesome.
great video

Excellent song. I heard it on a myspace page and it took me a while to track this down. Thanks

The music and video is done w. gr8 imagination and aviator moves u. I felt inspired to write this...
"endlesss blue skies,
inebriated with white flames and red tears,
a mad flight to nowhere, chasing dreams,
the music of my heart beat plays over my memories,
even as the orange skies surf n splash..."

i agree with Leoluver! it's been mixed perfect with the music.. (drums during the take off, the applauses etc..)
