@halag Heck, even Kara herself has apologized for the song. She said she was so scared when they asked her to do it and with it being her first time being in the spotlight on such a big show and people having such a mixed reaction to her and stuff that she wasn't able to write like she normally is. I do think though, regardless of how good the song is, Kara and Adam both did great versions of it. Mainly because they had a good voice for it.

Not only Kara DioGuardi is a great musician.

Paula Abdul was a great musician as well.

Only the best become judges at American Idol. This is different from the casting shows in Germany, where I live. Our German Idol "DSDS" is a true horror show, while American Idol is great entertainment. Though the quality became worse after Carrie Underwood, perhaps this is the reason why Kara is leaving the show.
