Well, nowadays you can get a MYSTIQE 1500 for 16000 Euro. I can say their definitely worth it!

Sure, but of course not nearly as good:

G-TECH HIGHLASE RGY 400mW

(by MediaLas, the same company as the Mystiqe)

Goes for ~1000 Euro

RADIATION RAR-800RGY 800mW

Goes for ~1600-1900 Euro

Both are RGY Lasers (Red Green Yellow) and controllable over ILDA and DMX.

Lasers are priced based on their color(s), power and of course the companies reputation. The Mystiqe 1500 is a full RGB 1.5 W laser, while those above are only RGY with 400mW & 800mW. For medium sized rooms you don't really need 1.5 W.

These are professional grade lasers, if you were to buy one, you'd need either a DMX light controller (limited to the lasers presets), or preferably, an ILDA interface (their are some cheap USB ILDA interfaces out there starting at 150 Euro).

Are you talking about the video or the projector and software? If it's the video - dunno. If it's the projector and software, be prepared to spend $24,000 (give or take $5,000) for this particular system...and that doesn't come with the software or interface.

You can purchase less expensive units that won't burn a hole in your pocket (or walls of your house). This would be WAY too bright in the garage or basement. One mistake and your eyesight is gone for good.
