If Pier Angeli's mother had not forced her to break off her relationship with James Dean, they would probably both be alive today.

James Dean died later in a car accident. Pier became engaged Kirk Douglas, but it didn't last, as she never got over James Dean's death.

Eventually she took her own life.

Someone should make a film about her life and relationship with James Dean.

What could have been a fairy story turned into a tear jerker.
