@Umeboshiization Make sure that you have all 21 essential bones names for your weight groups on the item in Blender. If you are using a custom physics shape, make sure it has the same material ids as your highest LOD.
Hi i noticed in the video ,you say you can rez it on the ground to make it bigger or smaller ,but not when you wear it,i tried and it seems to revert back to irs original size when i wear it..?
@ASiIverSurfer That is expected behavior. Once a rigged mesh is worn, scaling information is useless. You need to make it the correct size in Blender. The only reason to scale it on the ground in SL is if you want to make it bigger so that the customer can select materials on the item easier.
This video seems to have jumped ahead a great deal! Video 4 left with the completed rigged mesh: Video 5 was about making the alpha; now suddenly we are at the point of importing the completed .dae files. But where is the information between completing the rigged mesh and uploading these .dae files? Selecting the rigged mesh, exporting to COLLADA and attempting to upload the result does not work. Can you provide the missing steps?
@ExosiusWoolley Not sure what you mean by skipping ahead? Do you mean the modeled shirt? The series doesn't cover modeling. I'll do that at another time. If you want more detail on armatures and vertex groups, check out the two primer videos.
@ashasekayi I think what they mean is... there is nothing here on how to export the model, at all. I know this has been a stopping point for me, as my collada 1.4 exporter isn't even creating a file and I have no idea why or what I am doing wrong.
@13thmidnightmare To export a model, you just select it and go up to File -> Export -> Collada 1.4. If something is wrong with your exporter, maybe you have a corrupt install of Blender. I'd uninstall the old one and then install the zip installer of Blender. Otherwise, you might want to file a bug report with the Blender Foundation.
Skin weight is greyed out and I'm not sure what to do .

@Iro4kaBabe That is very strange. You should file a JIRA bug report on that.
