Speed and caffeine are absolutely comparable as they stimulate the brain in a similar way by closing blood vessels in the brain, so the brain and body cannot sleep, to cause the release of adrenaline into the body, so the body remains active and alert, and to manipulate dopamine production in the brain, so the person experiences a temporary high.
Your ignorance of speed is worrying, there's lots of information available, compare long term use with that of cannabis and try not to be offended.
As a user of speed and/or caffeine (which aren't truly comparable in the first place), and a stoner (though never both), I'm kind of offended by that. As a thinker, one can walk many of the same paths that cannabis/psychedelics provide. The changes in cognition and perception are there, and they don't necessarily feed the ego...
