  • I really like this band. And ---- check out how they keep their instruments! Really high up. Another band from the cold, I mean Cool, country up in the north was THE ZETTLERS. Listen to their version of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Unbelievably Great!!!

The music miracle from Sweden must have begun as early as the mid 60s.

  • Where did they get the wigs?

  • no need for longer straps? they just aren't needed for rocking these absolute mod beats.

  • If they would have come to the states, they could have bought longer guitar straps. We had alot of them back in the 60's.

  • Thats just because most americans are so small....

  • Hej! I luv this song and have a cd of 60s Swedish bands: "Searchin' for shakes..." that this song is on and it's totally awesome and a lot of the songs are as fab as what the Brits were doing at the time also I have Swedish ancestry in my family tree! Tack sa mycket!

  • Shanes were my favorites at this time,

    my brother had Tages.

  • Swedish answer on Terry Knight & The Pack ( pre; GRAND FUNK )

  • Sounds like the Turtles turned this into "Almost There". Great one.

  • Nice to see that my first Shanes favourite song exists on video after all these years. It was probably around 1963 or 1964 when I first as a 8or 9 years old heard it, Ï think on the swedish top 10. I still have their first LP (without the former lead singer in the video).

Frankly The Shanes didn´t compose that many top class songs but they were OK for those days, being one of the pioneers in the early pop music era in Sweden of the 1960ies.

  • Dig the way they hold the guitars like Shotguns! Bang Bang Baby!!!

  • shanes FTW! :p.. dad's in the middle :D

  • Cool =D

  • what a great show-thanks for making this rare stuff available so Americans like myself can broaden their horizons!

  • lol, it's so good, i love watching this

  • geez the bass player looks ten years old!

  • Low slung guitars are harder to play pure and simple.

  • If the held their guitars any higher they'd be over their heads....
