Innocent is 30% owned by Coca-Cola. Their excuse was that in order to become more global and wide-spread they need the help of Coca-Cola. Well Coca-Cola could certainly do with some help from Innocent if the stuff about Coca-Cola's dodgy practices in 3rd world countries is true ( taking good water away from local farmers for their bottling plants... assasinating trade unions... ). ANYWAY Innocent is the ONLY widely available brand of smoothie in UK not to use concentrates so thumbs up for that!
Innocent have got into bed with Mcdonalds public enemy number one - completely unethical. I'm sure they will give us some more slick advertising to try and convince us its not the case. What they care about is profit, don't believe the hippy bullshit marketing.
when it says "dont crush any of these" about the workers, I think thats slightly risqué. I dont particularly get it, or is it all just innocent?
That aside, the drink itself is pretty marvelous. Especially the new superfood ones which I first found in starbucks. At the moment of me sipping the beverage, I thoght, "Wow! This is the peak of human engineering.."
Innocent Smoothies are great, but what I don't get is if they're all just fruit, how come they're sooo expensive? Isn't it just cheaper to buy the recipe book and make them at home?
Well "duh" but isn't this the case with every recipe? Do you define eating to a restaurant worthy only when it contains chemical additives/preservatives etc?
I would have thought that the idea, is simply to get a product someone else has done the effort for already, (or if you want to be technical, convert someone of your own past effort, straight into it, which is what money represents)
>this was inoffensive, apart from the "don't crush any of these" workers bit, get over yourself Innocent corp.< Go away, innocent rock. Am now part of the family :)

You're right - fruit contains natural sugars. What we're saying is that we don't ADD sugar to our smoothies. Hope that clears that point up.

it says non of this on the suggar picture BUT there is sugar in it because ther is sugar in strawberrys and other fruits what it is made of.
